You’re Being Persecuted?
Them: But we are being targeted and persecuted, discriminated against, and even killed!
Me: And so was Jesus…
Yet He didn’t assemble a protest, loot, or set fires.
He didn’t scream that His constitutional rights were being taken away.
He didn’t fight against the government, nor made plans to overtake it.
Instead, He made no reputation for Himself, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men (Philippians 2:7).
He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter (Isaiah 53:7).
If we consider ourselves to be “Christ-like”, then we must understand that the lifestyle of being Kodesh קודש (set apart) comes with trials, tribulations, testing, and persecution. But whosoever endures to the end, shall be saved (Matthew 24:13).
Your reward is not of this life, but of eternity. “For whosoever holds on to their life, will loose it. But they that loose this life for His name sake, will find it (eternal life),” Matthew 16:25.
Remember : You are not citizens of this life. So make sure that you’re not attempting to build or store treasures here. All that is on this earth is temporal and passing away, as it is written.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of The LORD, Forever,” Psalm 23:5-6.
