Your Walk with God – Pt.2
This article is authored by Dick Leggatt, President of Derek Prince Ministries – USA and this comprises his December 21, 2012 Newsletter. Click here to receive the Derek Prince Ministries emailed E-devotional. |
Let me introduce this second part of “Your Walk with God,” this month’s Teaching Legacy of Derek Prince subtitled “We Must Do the Walking.” First, a quick reminder that the first installment, “God Shows the Way,” provided practical steps for making progress in your relationship with Jesus Christ. (If you missed part one, you may read it online by clicking here.)
Now then, to provide you with just a little incentive (not that you need it) to read this installment, here are four simple, yet profound, statements Derek makes in this message:
- We must learn both to speak regularly to God and to let God speak regularly to us.
- In order to recognize the Spirit’s voice, we must cultivate an intimate acquaintance with the Spirit Himself.
- The better we come to know the Holy Spirit, the more clearly we will hear His voice and recognize His various forms of guidance.
- The more sensitive we become to the Holy Spirit’s leading, the better we are able to walk in the world with peace and assurance as true sons of God.
You know, of course, that Derek Prince was a logician, so his statements here speak volumes in themselves. The good news is that Derek expands upon these truths in this Teaching Legacy of Derek Prince in a way that will considerably enrich your life and understanding.
What a privilege it is for us to present this wonderful, logical, practical teaching to you! And what an added pleasure to offer you, upon your request and without charge, an additional blessing: Derek’s downloadable message entitled “Knowing God.”
What will be the ultimate benefit of all this for you? Your relationship with Jesus will be much better and stronger. If that sounds good to you, please feel free to dive in. Enjoy!
