Your Spirit is Your Stronghold!
We all want to live and enjoy the victorious life in Christ Jesus. It’s living life inside out by the power of the Spirit.
Find out the simple, yet profound steps in this article.
Your spirit is your stronghold!
“The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit?” Proverbs 18:14.
Your spirit is the real you, the new creature and God’s headquarters. It’s what sustains you when you are under attacks of sickness, pressures of life, demonic attacks and contrary situations.
That’s why you MUST keep your spirit strong and steady on God’s word.
✅ Feed your spirit on God’s word in big quantities.
You live by that word (Read Matthew 4:4). That word will bring growth and strength to your spirit, (Read 1 Peter 2:2, Hebrews 5:14).
✅ Pray in tongues fervently, regularly and as much as you can.
This will charge up your spirit both for service and for battle, (Read 1 Corinthians 14:4, Jude 1:20). In this state you’ll not succumb to sickness, disease or failure.
You’ll condition your spirit by the decision of your mind and the act of praying in tongues for victorious living.
✅ Receive the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, by attending anointed ministration in church, through your consistent prayer life and communion with the Spirit.
It is through this that you’re strengthened with Miracle-working abilities in your spirit to live supernaturally, (Read Ephesians 3:16).
✅ Speak life, don’t speak death. Don’t be negative in your speech. Don’t contradict God’s word for you, even if the circumstances look bleak and discouraging, that will break your spirit.
Prophesy to yourself and the situations by faith in God’s word. Use your tongue wholesomely – words of healing, power and in line with God’s word.
“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit,” Proverbs 15:4.
✅ Be happy, don’t worry. Do not allow the circumstances of life define you.
The joy of the Lord is your strength. It is in your spirit, rejoice. No one gave you that joy, so don’t permit their bad attitude toward you or they critical tendencies dry it up.
Joy is the strength of God in your spirit. Even in hard times, joy comes, so laugh, smile, sing and dance.
“Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength,” Nehemiah 8:10.
“A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken,” Proverbs 15:13.
“A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones,” Proverbs 17:22.
REJOICE VICTORY IS YOURS!
