Your Obedience Will Enable You
God’s abilities will become your abilities when you actively stand in the Holy of Holies, before The Council of The LORD; that being The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ. Jesus said that He always does what He sees the Father doing; He said in His promising Voice that Holy Spirit “will take from what is Mine and show it unto you.”
The Intelligence He is manifesting in your life is in the Wisdom that is in the Word That Is Sent, for Jesus is made known unto us as wisdom from God.
“For the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14.
God is Incomparable; as the only reputable, irrefutable source of Life. Stand before The Council of The LORD; Acknowledge Him in everything you do and He will direct your path.
For where the Spirit of The LORD is, there is freedom.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let all your requests be made known unto God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6.
Your obedience to His Voice will enable you. For we walk by faith, not by sight.
~ Thomas Downes
Thomas Downes. Walking with The LORD for over 40 years, Thomas runs “The Voice of the Writer” a Prophetic Ministry. His purpose is to present the Word of God and the Love of God with the prophetic heart; the heart that desires to hear the Voice of The LORD, and present His Word for the encouragement of others.
Obedience is something I’ve learned much more of in these, my latter years. Before that I was able to excuse little slips but the time came when I learned “Obedience is better than sacrifice”. Jesus learned obedience also but He never sinned, unlike myself. I’ve noticed a huge difference in how Father answers my prayers-almost before I say them. “Before you call I will answer”. and it is so true. I want to walk in obedience not as works but simply to please Him and not grieve His heart. I so want Him to say to me “well done” when I come face to face with Him. thank you Thomas-for the Word you give. <3
