Your Gate Beautiful Experience Awaits!
How long must you stand outside of the Temple waiting on somebody to carry you in and out when you can accept what God has for you?
Temple’s Gate Beautiful, according to Strong, was a large door; an entrance-gate to a city or fortress; a door-gate. 4439 /pýlē (“a door-gate”) typically refers to the exit people go out, i.e. focusing on what proceeds out of it.
The LORD spoke to me regarding the passage of the lame man begging at the Temple Gate for alms!
As we all know, Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked for alms.
You see, this lame man had apparently been in this state and condition for a very long time and he had come to know this type of lifestyle and to expect this as a way of living!
Because, he had no other way of providing for himself. He even had come to expect others to carry him to this Temple just so he could get provisional alms from as many as would give them!
The same way those are that are tangled up in bondage in the world is doing! The LORD is saying to me that the Church need not stand in judgment of the world because they are doing what the carnal mind knows to do!
And, that is to place their trust In those things that they can tangibly see! They know not how powerful the Temple Gate Beautiful truly is because they have not yet come to know the LORD!
“‘And, they know not that it is not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty,” Zechariah 4:6.
But, as God spoke this Word to me, He had me to key in on the fact that this man had access and the key to his provision and his wealth all this time, but he did not even recognize it!
Why? Because not only was he lame, but blind as well.
The most ironic thing is that God himself winks at the ignorance of man and He demands man everywhere to repent! (Acts 17:30) Why? Because He knows that man on his best day, is both weak, gullible and incapable of understanding the spiritual things of God without God drawing him.
This poor man, no doubt, came to this Temple Gate Beautiful every day seeking alms while the people went in and out of it praying and seeking God.
He never once thought to himself, “Maybe I should go in this place to see what is going on inside….” but instead, he was so busy trying to seek after the natural things of this world, that he could not see a Gold Mine was sitting right before him!
This is why I believe God allowed Peter and John to fasten their eyes upon him! Having John to say, “Look on us!” and getting the man’s attention.
I believe God is saying that like this man, many are so busy doing their own things which they feel will benefit their flesh and the natural man, that they have literally passed up every day on the Church.
They cannot see Christ in the Temple Gate, because they have been crippled by the enemy waiting on somebody to carry them.
But in this season, God is going to send many into the market place to say, “LOOK ON US! “ And, because of the power of prayer and the anointing in your life, they will be so captivated by the anointing God has released on your life, that they will give heed unto you, expecting to receive something of of you. Just as they did the disciples!
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
I hear God saying that no longer will the lame, sick, disease and the afflicted have to stand at the Temple Gate Beautiful for someone to help them to beg for an inheritance (looking in from the outside in searching for God in all the wrong places) but God who knows every string of hair upon their head and He will have others who are anointed to locate them!
In this season, I feel a fresh wind blowing and it is the breath of God that is going to cause His Word to begin to germinate, penetrate and to take root in the stony hearts of those who are broken, to begin to look and to wait in expectancy as God begins to ignite them with his Holy Ghost Fire to come out of bondage.
I believe that the LORD is going to ignite such a Fire under those people whom the enemy has trapped in bondage, that many will have be in absolute amazement at what the LORD has done or is doing, as a result of their obedience and faith to Him.
And the disciples took this man by the right hand, (discerning that the need he had to as much more significant than money but was an emptiness that only Christ could fill!) and lifted him up: and something amazing and miraculous happened to him!
IMMEDIATELY his feet and ankle bones received strength and he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God for all the wonderful works of God he had experienced.
And all the people saw him walking and praising God: and they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
A Lame Man Healed
“Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them — walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him,” Acts 3:1-10 NKJV.
