Your Body is The LORD’s Temple!
I heard, “Your body is My Temple, get ready for a refurbishing. You cannot be separated from My Wholeness.
I AM the Carpenter of Carpenters, I will repair and restore, I AM the Fixer of the broken!”
So often, we think with our minds and not our spirits. Our minds need renewed DAILY by the written and the Rhema Word to line up with what we know in the Spirit.
Our thinking gets messed up by bad reports of all kinds. Health, finances, family, relationships.
Should we dwell on these negative reports? NO! Do we? YES! LOL!
Abba Father was speaking to me today about our bodies and how we are His Temple. Almighty God, our Father, sent HIS Spirit to dwell in us. First, WOW! Think on that!
We who are born again still live in flesh bodies, but our spirits have been made PERFECT in Jesus.
The Holy Spirit DWELLS in our bodies, in our Temples. The enemy wants us to forget this. The LORD God Himself, who is Spirit, lives in us. He sent His Spirit into our hearts, which is the CENTER of our being.
We live in a fallen earth. There are things on the earth that are hard on our flesh bodies. It is the flesh body that God tweaks and renews and refurbishes and restores. Our spirit man is already perfected.
The Spirit in you is THE HEALER. He lives in you and He is always working. Jesus died for us, so that He could live in us, creating NEWNESS of life in us.
I saw Jesus one time in a vision as a Carpenter. According to dictionaries, a carpenter “measures, cuts, and shapes. He constructs and installs. He inspects and replaces. He instructs and directs laborers and other construction helpers.”
(I get a picture that these are ANGELS He is instructing and directing)
Don’t you love it? Your Salvation (Jesus is your salvation, the Creator, the Carpenter of Men) is always working. He never slumbers or sleeps. SOZO is always working in you.
And I heard the word “REFURBISH.”
I had to look it up for the exact meaning. It means.” to renovate and redecorate. To brighten and freshen up.”
His Rhema Word to you is LIVING and ALIVE and QUICKENS your mortal body. His spoken word made “by the Living Voice” is working in you and renovating and perfecting and refreshing your mind and body.
Jesus Christ, the Master Carpenter in you, the CERTAIN Hope of Glory!
“Beloved. Have you not read that your God is able to do exceedingly abundantly, beyond all that you can ask or even think, according to the Power that is working in you?
I have sent My Holy Spirit into your heart in the midst of your flesh body.
Oh My Child, think not like the world thinks. By a single offering I have made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified.
Your heart is the Center where My Majesty and Brilliance are working daily for you.
I have not left you as orphans, Dear One. Oh no. An orphan is without comfort and care and presence.
I AM your Caretaker, your Comforter, your Very Present Help; My Presence forever dwells in you.
I never leave nor forsake you. My Resurrection Power dwells in you. The very same Power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in you.
When your Savior was raised, the flesh body was glorified and whole again, Dear One.
The scars that were left are there for this purpose, It as an Eternal Mark of My Love for you; to show you that I was crushed in body and rejected in soul, so that you are now made whole in the body and accepted in the Beloved.
By the Stripes of your Savior, you are made WHOLE. It was a Divine Exchange.
It is by grace, I make you whole, not by your works, but by Mine. I AM He who makes you WHOLE.
Daily, My Power in you restores every cell, every organ and every function as you listen to My Living Voice.
I AM the Divine Renovator whose Glory is dynamic in your body. My Glory in you is a Brilliant Light exploding with LIFE and DIVINE LIGHT.
Does not My Word speak to you that you are changed daily from glory to greater glory and that you are being transformed into My Image?
Oh yes, Dear One. The Renovator has come. The Restorer of all things is at work in you daily.
I refurbish, restore, renew, and even redecorate the mind and the body.
Yes, even the flesh body responds to My Word of Life. Let My Rhema Word fill you with Divine Revelation and JOY unspeakable.
The Sun of Righteousness has arisen with Healing in His Wings! I bought you with a Price, you are Mine.
The Word from My Living Voice is the Divine SPARK that sets your whole being free!
This is My Holy Fire, My Glory, My Resurrection Power in you making all things NEW!”
REFURBISH : To renovate and redecorate (something, especially a building). To brighten or freshen up. To make a room or building look fresh and new again. To make a building look new again by doing work such as painting, repairing, and cleaning. From the German furben, meaning “to polish.” To improve not just a structure’s appearance but also it’s functionality.
CARPENTER : Strong’s Greek 5045: TEKTON. A worker in wood, a carpenter, joiner, builder. A builder or craftsman in any kind of material. Mark 6:3 (and very similar in Matthew 13:55) “Then they scoffed, “He’s just a CARPENTER, the son of Mary and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon. And his sisters live right here among us.” They were deeply offended and refused to believe in Him.” (Biblestudy Tools)
Carpenters are highly trained in their craft and possess a deep understanding of woodworking techniques and principles. They are adept at interpreting blueprints, creating accurate measurements, and using a wide array of tools and machinery to shape and join wood components. They measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials. They construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door-frames. They do finishing and trim work. They inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. They instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers. (Cambridge, Collins and Merriam Webster Dictionaries)
WORD (Rhema) : “Utterance. Strong’s Greek 4487 rhḗma (from 4483 /rhéō, “to speak”) – a spoken word, made “by the living voice” (J. Thayer). The LORD speaking His dynamic, living word in a believer to inbirth faith (“His inwrought persuasion”). Romans 10:17: “So faith proceeds from (spiritual) hearing; moreover this hearing (is consummated) through a rhēma-word (4487 /rhḗma) from Christ” (Gk text). [See also Galatians 3:2,5 which refers to “the hearing of faith” (Gk text) – i.e. a spiritual hearing that goes with the divine inbirthing of faith.] (Biblehub)
“But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD (RHEMA) that proceeds from the mouth of God.”” Matthew 4:4
“Do you not know that your body is a TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.” Hebrews 10:10
“But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.” Hebrews 10:12
“For by one offering, He has perfected for all time those being sanctified.” Hebrews 10:14
“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of The LORD, are progressively being transformed into His image from one degree of glory to even more glory, which comes from The LORD, who is Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, The LORD Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself, will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body.” Philippians 3:20-21
“It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.” 1 Corinthians 15:43
“And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, (Adam) so also shall we bear the likeness of the Heavenly Man.(Jesus)” 1 Corinthians 15:49
“For in Christ all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form. And you have been made COMPLETE in Christ, who is the Head over every ruler and authority.” Colossians 2:9-10
~ Deborah Waldron Fry
Dear Deborah-
I smiled as I read your post.
I chuckle often as I remind the Lord my ‘temple’ needs a ‘new makeover’. I am yielding to ‘cooperate’ with Holy Spirit as he takes my late 60s body – a ‘Fixer-Upper’ – yes, ‘This Old House’ and rehabs me into a ‘House Beautiful’. It’s a big job – but He can do it.
Not only has He more mindful of what I eat (and don’t eat) these days- He is causing me to ‘speak words of blessing, not cursing’ over myself. When the doctor tells me ‘you’ve had arthritis or whatever all your life -it’s heredity’- I graciously smile- but tell him ‘Doc, they may be the (medical) facts, but the TRUTH (God’s Word) has All Authority over all. I won’t receive that as the final word.
Thanks for reminding us today – yes -‘we are HIS temple’ – and God doesn’t want/need rundown, abandoned shacks carrying His presence – we are getting new digs! Glorious Restoration ahead.
Amen ✝️❤️
