So it’s important to be mindful of the ways in which you have treated your body and acknowledge any areas where you may have neglected or mistreated it — and seek forgiveness…
On this Prophetic Journey together, let’s make a fresh commitment to reprioritise self-care and nourishment physically, mentally and spiritually.
A great start concerning our bodies, would be to establish a healthy routine that includes some regular exercise, nutritious meals, and sufficient rest!
And If need be, seeking professional advice or guidance to address any specific health concerns or issues that have maybe have been neglected or ignored.
Next Step! Embracing a mindset of gratitude for your body, appreciating its abilities and strengths, rather than just focusing on perceived flaws, limitations or weaknesses.
Self-acceptance is truly powerful and helps us to recognise our God given worth is not solely determined by our physical appearance.
True and lasting Beauty is more than skin deep.
”For The LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but The LORD looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
Friends, challenge yourself in this Season!
Engage in activities that bring you Joy and that contribute to your overall well-being, such as hobbies, some relaxation techniques, or even spending time walking in nature.
It’s also vital to surround yourself with positive influences and support systems that encourage and uplift you on your journey towards honouring your body…
RENEW your Mind through Prayer, Meditation, and positive affirmations, reminding yourself of the sacredness and importance of the vessel God has gifted to you..
Be mindful to extend compassion and kindness to others, recognizing that they too have bodies that deserve honor and respect.
Take a few moments throughout the day to check in with your body and listen to its needs, whether it be physical rest, hydration, or nourishment — be mindful of your body!
Encourage yourself by celebrating small victories along the way, acknowledge and rejoice in the progress you make in caring for your body. It is a continuous process that requires patience, persistence, and grace.
Remember, in honoring our body, we honouring The Holy Spirit that dwells within us, and we set an example for others to do the same.
The ultimate purpose of honoring our body — is to Glorify God and to live a life of righteousness that aligns with His Will.
Our growth and transformation is not just about physical wellness, but also about cultivating a lifestyle of deeper Intimacy with the Father.
I believe that Spiritual Maturity involves balancing our physical, mental, and emotional well-being with our Spiritual growth.
Lastly, surrender any feelings of guilt or shame associated with past mistreatment of your body, and know that there is always forgiveness and grace.
Whatever Satan has done to destroy you, God can undo from this day forward!
He is the God of a second chance!
”Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship…
