Your Adversaries Won’t Be Able to Catch Up
Your Adversaries Won’t Be Able to Catch Up With What The LORD is Doing…
I heard, “Your adversaries won’t be able to catch up with what I AM Doing!”
God is doing something, even though it is looking very tough. Light is surfacing, keep at it, you are already in a new season.
Yes, gleanings from The Book of Galatians. We saw in our last discussion from the third Chapter that the law rather empowers sin when we look to it for righteousness.
When we seek to be accepted before God by our works we rather enter into bewitchment set for us by the Devil.
Now the Apostle says unto the Churches something he wishes them to reason on. He says;
“Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain,” Galatians 3:4.
We have to be gain minded. Most of us when we turned to Christ, we faced rejection from friends and even family members.
We faced and still a lot of persecution for our faith. We suffer much but it is God’s will that these sufferings be attended upon with his gracious reward.
It is not as though our sufferings earn us rewards but it is a grace in us worked out as a proof of our salvation to which we ought not to let be in vain. Now we have accepted the grace of Christ, we will not frustrate it. We will not let it be in vain to which we are been persecuted.
Now look at the next verse;
“He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” Galatians 3:5.
Observe carefully these first words “He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you…..”
The power to see miracles happen in our lives and others is the quest of every believer. This is why the enemy for a long time took over the scene.
I have heard teachings upon teachings, read books upon books that kept giving religious works as conditions to seeing the miraculous. They make seeing the miraculous look like something you have to earn by either prayer and fasting, self righteousness and the likes.
But here the Apostle asks a very shocking question,
“He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”
Wow, Paul is asking above that, does God supply the spirit to you and work miracles for and through you by your works or by faith in what you hear that Christ has done?
Every doctrine that sets up standards for us to qualify for the miraculous to be seen in our lives is erased by this statement.
God works miracles only by Faith. When we believe in what Christ has done, Jesus becomes our qualification. God now works miracles in and through us by Christ and that’s all.
This was the secret of the apostles. If we must see the power and the miracles they saw we must also lean on their faith.
God has never done any miracle where any man has ever deserved it. God does miracles in the name of Jesus and no other name.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved,” Acts 4:12.
No matter how good you make yourself, God will not look to you and give you Salvation. Your name is not in the equation for power, miracles and any other blessing.
God answers to one Name, and that Name is Jesus. God does miracles when we put Faith in that Name, and that’s all. This was the secret of the apostles.
Peter healed a man and people kept looking at them, as though they did it — because of their holy living.
“And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?” Acts 3:12.
Peter knew better. God doesn’t work miraculous through anyone because he or she is holy or righteous. God answers to just one Name, Jesus.
When we believe in Him, His Holiness and Righteousness becomes ours and starts speaking for us. This is what Peter said was their secret to power.
“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all,” Acts 3:16.
And this is what the apostle Paul says was the secret of Abraham, when he believed in Christ, God counted him righteousness by his Faith in His Son;
“Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness,” Galatians 3:6.
All these are people who shook the earth with their Faith. They saw God do wonders through their Faith in Him in their day, like no other. Faith in His Goodness and not in their goodness.
Because of this, the apostle admonishes us to follow the Abrahamic kind of Faith. If we believe the way he believed, we will have the same results, even greater works. For he was not justified by works, but he believed in God who justifies the ungodly and God became his Righteousness and did wonders in and through him.
“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham,” Galatians 3:7.
In an encounter with the LORD; I saw a Child of God in a football match. I saw as he approached the goal post with the ball. I saw him approach at two different times and at each of them he scored with a shot that was too fast the goalkeeper couldn’t even see the ball.
At the time it all happened too fast — and the goalkeeper could not see the ball. It was an exciting moment for this Child of God who was full of Joy.
“Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended…..
…… A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time,” Isaiah 60:20,22.
Then The LORD said, “Son, your light has Come. The light you see piercing through your darkness is no longer what you used to see. It is beyond the natural light, it is beyond natural laws.
The sun and moon have their rising and setting times, but today I say you, your everlasting light has arrived. Your God is now manifesting himself to you as your everlasting light.
No more one step forward and two steps backwards. Your days of mourning are over, this is your day of rejoicing.
I AM multiplying Zion, a little one is now becoming a thousand and a small one a strong nation.
This is your hour, watch out now, see, your adversaries won’t be able to catch up with what I AM doing with you, for I AM speedily fulfilling My Word upon you.”
