The last few days I have had an urge to paint a Ship with sails.

I then found myself repeating the word ‘Ruach’ during my prayer this morning, and envisioned a Sailing Ship.

I saw the wind/ breath of The LORD making the sails billow as the ship was accelerated forward.

The day before, I found myself drawing the deck of a Ship and a Lion guarding the door to the Captain’s Cabin.

I knew that this was The Lion of Judah, our Lord Jesus Christ. He was keeping watch and directing the path of this Ship.

I sensed The LORD say, “The Captain’s need to surrender command upon the waves of their mind, and I direct their paths.” (Psalm 119 + James 1)

I then heard, “You will be as Perez!”

Little is known about Perez, except that his part in the word was about being birthed.

As a twin — it was Zerah that put his hand out first, yet Perez was the first to come out fully.

The LORD is saying that it is as Perez ‘s namesake, that many of you are to “Breach, burst forth, and breakthrough!”

Perez is also known to mean Peter, The Rock— and it is this rock that The LORD wants us to build on — that where you have felt the discomfort that feels like a breach birth, this pain is where you have been prepared to raise up the ancient ruins, to raise up the foundations of many generations; and to be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in. (Isaiah 58:12)

It is in this battle of the birthing, that you may have felt as though tossed in the waves of destruction, in many ways upon the waters of despair.

The unknown that dwells beneath, that many have felt you have been drowning.

The pirates have lingered near, to the left and to the right, to try to take you off course — many of you have swerved, and the seasickness has caused much lethargy and confusion.

However, The LORD is saying right now — “Be still” to those waves…….

Those pirates will not necessarily disappear, as this is the Spiritual Warfare we know is round about us. Yet, The LORD is using this time upon the Ship/ The Ark of Protection, to give greater Spiritual Sight that will bring clarity to know and declare the victory that you possess.

As we focus ahead by His Compass, there shall arise such a greater boldness, greater courage, and greater fortitude.

I also heard the word ‘Onedin’ which is a word that doesn’t actually have a meaning, yet I suddenly remembered a program that was on British television many years ago called ‘The Onedin Line’.

It was about a family who set up a shipping line to trade.

The LORD has been using this time on our boats to get us to trade away to him, what is unhealthy, unneeded and unnecessary and replace them with his peace, his strength, his joy and his directive plans and purposes.

Just as Perez was unexpectedly birthed first, and was conceived through sin, God has so often used unexpected people, those considered to be outcast, undesirable or just plain weird to the world.

Yet, it is His choice to use these children to pioneer, those who are trusted, are to be thrust — to be Captains.

Those of you who have surrendered and still do so, are being given ships with sails to be accelerated into your destinies and promises for God’s Kingdom and Plans on Earth to bring in the greatest Harvest before His return.

“For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of The LORD. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8 KJV
