It would be tragic to think that God had placed certain gifts in the Church, and they had neither been taught nor promoted.

Perhaps it would be helpful, if we could for a moment, lay aside our doctrinal issues; especially those things which were taught by men.

It could be critical that we ask ourselves some very tough, but much needed questions. Were some of the things we required of people, taught by the Spirit or were they ideas of human men?

There have been a lot of emotional problems among some of our people throughout the years.

Families suffered with those who did not strive well; things that affected the entire family. And yes, this included those in ministry too.

There are those who are witnesses to this truth. You couldn’t tell anyone. It would have been dishonorable to do so.

Besides, we seem to imply, that anyone with the Holy Ghost didn’t have such kind of problems. We know now, we’re never cured of being human.

The Healing of the Mind, among the body of Christ, was a gift given to certain individuals, just as the other gifts were given “severally” as He willed.

Our human bodies were designed to heal themselves; such a remarkable creation. Why would Christ design his Body to do anything less?

Everything the body needed for it’s own health, was put there. Every part jointly fitting together. All the gifts, all the ministries, placed there for a full functioning entity; body, mind and spirit.

If God placed all of these things in the Church, then they are still there. Whether we recognize it or use, it doesn’t change that.

The mind is part body and part spirit. It cannot function without either one. Why did we not minister to one another as we were meant to do?

How could it be, that so many of us suffered for so long, when it should not have been?

The idea that the Church might have mental health issues, may offend some. It’s too late to pretend or turn our heads aside.

Consider this. What if God should move various people in the Body, to stand up and tell the truth about how it really was, or may be now?

Some of what we see on what was once called The Church Platform, is approaching mere madness.

What touches me so often, is that we know better, and if we didn’t before, we do now. The destruction that follows from operating in the flesh, is no different than it was years ago.

To make a statement that The Spirit is not operating in certain people or their program, would once arouse severe ridicule.

To dare say that too many who are said to be anointed, are not anointed, would even be called blaspheming or judging. Then don’t judge it. Discern it!

So many among us are dying. We’re dying from broken hearts that have never been healed.

We are living their lives so far below what we were meant to; never reaching our full potential — accepting emotional and physical abuse, even now — tolerating harsh individuals with awful control issues.

Even those kind of people need healing, but there’s no one to help them either; neither doctors nor medical science. But the Church could; those given those gifts could. And they will.

Jesus will not return for a sick Bride. And He will not sweep up a weak Church that has never lived up to the full maturity He and His holy apostles set in motion — not while He hears people crying, because no one wants to help, or they can’t.

Not while men and women sit on pews with silent tears, that nobody can see.

The show won’t go on much longer. Even the ministry is falling in too many places; there’s no one they can trust.

God is going to make room for those who have these gifts; but you must be spiritual.

You see, He heard me crying……
