You Stand at the Threshold
“Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God,” 1 Peter 2:16.
“Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world,” James 1:27.
“You stand at the threshold. For this nation that was once called the land of the free and the home of the brave, but now you have drifted far from the shore. For you have accepted many things, and because you have accepted many things, your land will be vanquished.
You say, ‘We have these freedoms. We have these freedoms to live however we want to.’
But I tell you that soon, those freedoms will all be taken away from you. But to those who have lived according to my statutes and laws, I will preserve you and keep you safe on the day of judgment.
But My statutes and laws are the laws of following after Me. I have come to give you liberty, but that liberty is not to be used to perform sinful acts.
The Son has come to set you free, and not to be conformed to the world’s standards. I have asked you to love the unlovely. I
have asked you to lay your lives down for your brothers and sisters. But many of you strut around like peacocks. For you think that you are somehow entitled.
Your pride and arrogance has blinded you to the truth of many things. You are so quick to run after the newest conspiracy story, instead of inquiring of me.
You have your bandwagon of causes, but your causes are not my causes. Are you any better than those that you point your fingers at?
Wash yourselves at My river, and I will make you clean. Otherwise your righteousness will rot in the sun.”
~ Stephen Hanson
Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the Lord is a special way in 1975 and has been prophesying regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are to be reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
