You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you!

This morning, the Lord allowed me to see a snake as it began to craw and to slither along its way! The ‘snake’ is a person who speaks poisonous words, he or she has an evil spirit, a tempter, lying spirit and what they do is not out of a spirit of love, but of deceit and deception. The snake is symbolic for Satan; earthly, sensual wisdom; crafty and cunning; Christ made sin for us; cursed; criticism and gossip, persecution and a viper; the spirit of divination is a python or constrictor; beguiling; drunkenness; malice; evil that is sudden; enemies, (Genesis 3:1-4).

This person who crawls as a snake is known to be deceptive, because they pretend to be righteous but they are indeed false. Their character is filled with seduction, strife and they are from the family of low-life. They tell half-truths and white lies tickling the ears, hearts of ALL WHO WILL listen. This snake lives in the hearts men (women) speaking white lies and hypocrisy. And, it has a double-minded spirit that cannot remain steadfast.

Watch out that you are not bitten by or overtaken by this snake who is known for spewing out its hot venom of attacks in this season. For the snake’s venom is filled with disobedience, and sin and its venomous words spews out conflict, judgment, and is an attack of the enemy on the character of many.

You will know this enemy because he or she leaves the shedding of snake-skin behind them which is signs and evidence of different disguises; demonic activity at its best. His traps are filled with offense, unforgiveness, lust. Suddenly attacks come on us unaware our of nowhere. They are filled with legalistic restrictions, manipulation, control, strongholds, the works of the flesh which is pride, conspiracies, death, fear and anger. And when this snake is a bitter (offended) and he or she is angry, they will strikes with a deadly vengeance.

God is speaking and we don’t have to allow the enemy to bind us up with chains of sin (fear) in this hour. For, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; you shall receive power! (Acts 1:8). For, you shall receive power to, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons.” (Matthew 10:8)

For, he said, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves,” (Matthew 10:16). For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deed, (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

Watch out for these snakes!

“Dan shall be a serpent by the way, A viper by the path, That bites the horse’s heels So that its rider shall fall backward,” Genesis 49:17.

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him,” Revelations 12:9.

“Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling,” Acts 16:16.
