Many years ago, God first called me into ministry and said this to me, “If you never want to fall — do this…”

“Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall,” 2 Peter 1:10.

Calling : A call, invitation: to a feast

Election : The decree made from choice by which he determined to bless certain persons through Christ by grace alone.

He has called us to a feast! Do not neglect the feast!

He is determined to bless us, do not neglect the fact that He chose to bless you, just because He wants to! Oh that just hit me! Glory to God!

And if you know those two things and do not neglect them and meditate on them, you will never fall! Your childlike faith will keep you!

Remember this from Psalm 23:5 : “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies…”
