You Must Leave All Behind
You know God calls us to leave things behind, and sometimes the process can be painful and difficult. But this is what He has called us to do.
And yet the rewards for doing this will be great, even as one leaves a home, a family, friends, and anything that may replace our relationship with Him.
We continue to love those that we have left, and the journey may become arduous at times, but His presence outweighs everything.
From seven years ago today, September 9, 2010.
You Must Leave All Behind
“Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy,” James 5:10-11.
“I have told My Servants that if you would follow after Me, that you must leave all things behind. I have said that this would mean family and friends and everything.
I have called some to follow after Me on a hard road ahead. It’s not that you leave your families behind, but it means that you would put Me first.
It doesn’t mean that you would leave all your friends behind, but it means that I alone would consume you.
As the days are coming nearer to My Return, I AM asking of a greater commitment of you. I AM asking you to forsake those things that would keep you from coming to Me.
I may ask some of you to leave Churches. I may ask some of you to enter the wilderness with Me again.
I was tempted in the wilderness for many days, and yet, I did not give into the enemy.
There are training times for some of My Servants. There are roads that lie ahead that few have trod. I called My Prophets to walk down lonely roads and many of them were tempered by My Spirit.
They were tossed by the winds. And yet they, like the great oak trees, did not break, but they withstood the winds, as though they came from My Hand.
But even in these sometimes parched lands of The Spirit, I will cause you to lie down in fertile valleys. I will feed you by My Spirit alone. And you will be replenished.
Then you will come back to the towns and the villages, and the fire within you will burn that much brighter.
But many would refuse My Hand in these things. They would say that, “‘surely The LORD would not want us to go through these things.” Then these would not taste the fruit that would be released into their lives.
For then the grapes would be luscious to behold. They would shine with the noon day sun. And they would sparkle in My Garden, and become a place of delight for My People.”

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Yes, Lord.
I believe and receive and agree.Amen
Amen! The word you released seven years ago, confirmed the journey my children and I have been on over the past five years. It hasn’t been easy, but it is worth it.
I needed this today. God bless.
Now you gave me a great confirmation of the times.
Some day at the end of the last year I stood and chose between what color of my hair ribbon I should take I said to myself ‘I take the yellow one’ and started to bind it around my hair when I heard in the spirit “Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree”.
It was many years since I heard that song and it was not one of my favorites so I had to check the lyrics and yes, again another sign of His soon coming;
I’m comin’ home, I’ve done my time
Now I’ve got to know what is and isn’t mine
It’s been three long years
Do ya still want me
