You Have a Heavenly Guardian Also
For a brief moment today, as I was thinking upon Jesus and praying, I saw one of the Angels who protects my husband.
And do you know what, Child of God? You have a Heavenly Guardian also.
I hear at least two and even more come to your aid as you need them, and call upon the name of The LORD.
My husband Paul’s Angel had black skin, very tall and strong. I had seen him once before in a dream, a few years ago, and his name was Deacon.
Now, I did not know it at the time, but looking it up just now, the name “Deacon” is a male given name of Greek and English origin which means ‘messenger’ or ‘servant’. Only God!
So I was led today to study a little more and to see what Father would reveal to us about His Angels.
Of course, we are never to address them ourselves or worship them. It is all through Jesus Christ our Savior and our Father God that we would see them for it is He who sends them and who would allow it.
But I think we can feel their presence around us at times when we are in need of them. God sends them to minister to us and help us.
Psalm 91:11 says, “God gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all of our ways.”
My dad had an angel appear to him as a female nurse when he was in the hospital after heart by-pass surgery. She was wearing an old fashioned uniform, like the ones they wore in WW2 , with the white dress and the little cap on her head.
She comforted him (without words) and did some “medical” procedures and he said he felt so much better after she left. And when he told the staff the next day, they told him no one had been in his room that night or was ever dressed that way.
I have a dear black sister and friend on Facebook, Dr. Lois P. Stevens, who says that she had an Angel that appeared to her when she was very ill many many years ago, that looked like me! That has always made me smile. (She kindly gave me permission to tell you all.)
Don’t you love our Abba Father?! Angels can look like ANYBODY — and we do not know the many ways they could appear!
It is something we will discover one day in heaven! For now, as it states in Hebrews 13:2, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Oh yes we have, sisters and brothers! Isn’t it exciting to know that we have Heavenly Helpers with us and all around us!
And know this, all that we really know to be truth about the angels is found in the Bible. Be wary of anything that cannot be backed by The Word.
There are many New Age teachings out there about Angels. But I believe God is revealing things to us by the Spirit in these last days, to comfort, encourage and edify us, even the deep things of God.
“Beloved. I have given My Angels charge over you. They are encamped all around you. They hearken to the Voice of My Word.
When you speak My Word, it is the same as if I were speaking. I have given you Authority to do this, Dear One.
Behold, I give you Authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you.
Do not feel that you are not worthy of this Blessing of My Protection. By the Blood of the Lamb, I have pardoned all your iniquities and redeemed your life from the pit.
Daily, I crown you with lovingkindness and compassion. Therefore, My Child, give My Angels something to work with. It is a benefit afforded only to those who are born again by My Spirit.
Do not give a voice to your fears, Dear One. Speak the Word only. My Heavenly Messengers diligently listen for My Voice in your mouth.
Surely and without fail, My Angels, mighty in strength, shall hear and respond. To them is given an exceeding might of intellect, and voice, and force which they delight to use in Sacred Service for you.
I have you covered. Are not My Angels ministering spirits sent to My Heirs? Yes, My Child. You are always accompanied by angelic beings.
In times of trouble, even more are sent to your side. I hear your every prayer and see your every tear. I give My Angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.
The Host of Heaven are standing by to aid you, Dear One. Just call out My Name, speak the Word, pray for yourself and for one another; even your tears and your sighs are a prayer to Me.
And I will send angels straight from My Throne of Grace to aid you and comfort you and strengthen you in your time of need.
I have not left you as orphans. I have sent The Holy Spirit into your heart to cry out, “Abba Father” — and all of heaven responds.
Do not worship them or call upon them as they are your fellow servants, but call upon Me in your trouble and I will send them, for they hearken to the Voice of My Command and My Word.
What is impossible for man, is possible with your God. There are MANY MORE for you than against you!
My Heavenly Messengers do My pleasure and are ever ready to hear, and know, and follow implicitly My declared will.
Fear not, Little One — you are the Righteousness of God in Christ. Know this, Beloved, the Angel of The LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers you!
You are hidden in Safety in the Shadow of My Great and Glorious Wings!”
ANGELS are created heavenly beings, superior to humans, who serve as messengers of God and guardians of human beings. The Bible plainly teaches that angels exist. There are more than 250 mentions of angels in Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible also indicates that angels are everywhere. While there is no specific passage in the Bible that lists out the nine orders of angels, there are parts of Scripture that speak to an angelic hierarchy. A Christian philosopher of the late 5th century drew on passages from the New Testament as well as other sources of knowledge to put forth some interesting angelic facts.
SERAPHIM (Also called the Burning Ones)
These particular angels serve as guardians or attendants before God’s throne. They are referenced is in Isaiah 6:1-7. They praise God, calling, “Holy Holy Holy is The LORD of Hosts.” What’s interesting to note about Seraphim is that they have six wings. Two of their wings cover their faces, two cover their feet and the other two are for flying.
CHERUBIM
Following Seraphim in the angelic hierarchy comes Cherubim. These angels are manlike in appearance, double-winged and guardians of God’s glory. In the New Testament, they are often considered to be celestial attendants, referenced in in Revelation 4-6.
THRONES
The Thrones are a class of angels mentioned by the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:16. This verse says, “For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.”
DOMINIONS
This group of angels are said to keep the world in proper order. They are known for delivering God’s justice in unjust situations, showing mercy toward human beings and helping other angels. They also are recognized for expressing unconditional love at the same time they express God’s justice.
ARCHANGELS
Archangels are called the great heralds of the Good News because they are sent by God to deliver important messages to mankind. They are the ones that communicate and interact with us. Michael is believed to be the angel who delivered God’s divine inspiration to John in the Book of Revelation and is known as the protector of the Church, guarding her from evil. Michael is most widely known for his role in expelling Lucifer from heaven. Gabriel is first mentioned in the Book of Daniel and helps Daniel in his mission on earth. Later on, Gabriel appears to Zachariah and Mary. Raphael is mentioned in the Book of Enoch.
POWERS
The Powers are considered Warrior Angels as they defend against evil, defending not only the cosmos but also humanity. They are also called the Powers because they have power over the devil, in order to restrain the power of the demons. They also help people who are wrestling with passions and vices to cast out any evil promoted by the enemy.
PRINCIPALITIES
The Principalities direct the fulfillment of Divine Orders. They are also known as Princedoms or Rules as they directly watch over large groups and institutions, including nations and the Church. They also ensure the fulfillment of the divine Will. These angels are wise and powerful, and they are better able to communicate with man in ways we can understand.
ANGELS ALSO CALLED MESSENGERS
They are closest to the material world and human beings. They also deliver the prayers to God and other messages to people on earth. One of the greatest characteristics about the angels is that they are most caring and social to assist those who ask for help.
According to Scripture, angels have various responsibilities and roles in God’s Kingdom. We are ultimately encouraged by the knowledge that God’s angels are at work. There are also circumstances where angels may even visit us. God, who is responsible for creating the angels has also promised us His presence in the face of life’s storms. (Beliefnet)
“And that very night the angel of The LORD went out and struck down 185,000 men in the camp of the Assyrians. When the people got up the next morning, there were all the dead bodies!” 2 Kings 19:35.
“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:14.
“Bless The LORD, all His angels mighty in strength who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.” Psalm 103:20.
“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings.” Psalm 17:8.
“He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler,” Psalm 91:4.
“The Angel of The LORD encamps around those who fear him, and He delivers them.” Psalm 34:7.
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you.” Luke 10:19.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
“My God sent His angel and shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, for I was found innocent in His sight, and I have done no wrong against you, O king.” Daniel 6:22.
