You Get What You Pray For!
As we step into a new year, many believers are filled with great expectation and anticipation of what lies ahead.
I believe that this next year [2024] will be a time of great favor, and that many in the body of Christ will be equipped with powerful Anointings to fulfill their God-given destinies.
In the midst of what appears to be a dark season of opposition, there will be a sudden shift in The Spirit Realm.
There’s coming a time when we will experience supernatural miracles, divine encounters, and amazing breakthroughs. It’s time to forget the past, and embrace what The LORD has for us in the days ahead.
Believers are going to rise up and use the authority that has been given to them in Jesus’ Name.
Many others will discover the power of their words. As they receive this revelation, they will speak with boldness knowing who they are in Christ, not with arrogance, pride, control or manipulation but as chosen vessels, sanctified and fit for The Master’s use.
As I was writing about the power of our words, I heard The Holy Spirit say something that captured my attention. He said, “You get what you Pray for!”
It reminded me of all the teaching that I received in the past about the power of our words. James 3:6 speaks about the tongue being a fire. It could be used to bless or to curse.
As The LORD calls us to a higher level we have to be careful of the words that we speak, especially when we pray.
Jesus said,
“Whatsoever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them.” Mark 11:24
It’s not about naming or claiming something, but it’s about taking authority as we decree and declare things into existence.
When you are filled with The Holy Spirit, and you speak in line with The Word of God, all of heaven will back what you say.
I heard that phrase three separate times in the past three days. With our words we create our reality. When you pray in the name of Jesus, demons tremble.
As believers, it’s essential to recognize that our authority doesn’t come from our own intelligence or eloquence, but from Jesus himself.
A noted prophet once said, “When you realize who you are in Christ, you will realize that you are behaving below your nature and living short of your potential.”
The LORD says, “Do not speak anything that would nullify or devalue My Word.
Never speak that which is contrary to what you believe.
Don’t contradict that which I AM birthing within you with words of doubt or dishonor.
Store up My Words within your heart as a treasure. As you do this, Faith will continually arise in your heart.
Although things that you are praying and believing for are not yet manifested in the natural, continue to speak My Word.
Speak words of life, and speak words in Love.
Pray without ceasing, and when you pray, believe that you receive.
Never let go of My promises.
Speak to the mountains, and walk on the water.
Walk by faith and not by sight.
Your words will define you as you speak words of faith and put your trust in Me,” says The LORD.
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” Luke 6:45
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14
“And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.” James 3:6
