Jesus replied: “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand”.“ John 13:7.

Often, we are given something to do by The LORD, that we have no idea what His intent may be.

Yet when we do as He has commanded us, there is the fruit of righteousness that follows.

In this passage Jesus is washing the feet of His disciples, saying “Unless I cleanse you, you have no part in Me.” (John 13:8).

Unless we are positioned where submission can be effective, where He is cleansing us for the purpose He has designed for us, all of our self righteousness will be nothing but filthy rags.

We may be able to show a form of godliness, but our actions will be denying the power thereof.

His Word will be declared: “Hereby are you cleansed by the Word I have spoken to you.” when you have yielded your heart and mind to the Word That Is Sent. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Rhema Word of God.

The intent of His Word is to prepare you and I for the purpose of transforming us by the renewing of our minds, so that we can truly prove what is the good, and acceptable, and Perfect Will of God.
