You Can’t Take My Joy Away
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
You Can’t Take My Joy Away
You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength
It comes from The LORD
From the deep wells of His Word
I’m not gonna worry about tomorrow
All the fear and doubt left with the sorrow
Nothing’s gonna keep me down
I’m gonna fly high above the ground
With eagle’s wings I soar
With a voice like a lion’s I roar
And by my side is my LORD
Oh you can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength
No matter what it looks like
I will keep my faith that He will provide
His Word is true, finer than gold
He’s my LORD to have and hold
Nothing is gonna stand in my way
I’m gonna keep walking in all His Ways
I’m gonna run through the meadow so free
And right there He is with me
Encouraging me to trust and believe
You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength
Oh His Joy rises up in me like a never ending fountain
His Life courses through me; He is my mountain
Together we run
Together we fly
Together we soar
Oh You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
We run across the prettiest meadow like gazelles
We fly across the bluest skies in His Finest Chariot
We soar on the strongest backs of His Eagles to Mount Zion
Oh You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay!
You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength
You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength
He fills me up with His Joy
He fills me up with His Strength
Cause that is the secret that keeps me going:
The Joy of The LORD is my strength!
You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength!
You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength!
You can’t take my joy away
Oh no it’s here to stay
The Joy of The LORD is my strength!

Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Blessings and Amen! For indeed you are born for such a time as this. May the Holy spirit, The Mighty Spirit of God continue to reveal to you the heart of the Lord.
Dear Liana
Thank you so much for responding with such words of encouragement. To love others is to know His Heart and everyday He shows me ways to love others through patience, grace and kindness.
May the LORD grace you with His mighty and gentle SPIRIT.
Many blessings to you!
Gabrielle
Gabrielle, not only are these words beautiful, but they are very prophetic and in synch with the Heart of God for Now.
May God richly bless you in this beautiful work for Him.
Dear Jennifer,
Thank you so much for your kind words. The topics the LORD gives me always are near and dear to Him and His Words show something He wants me to see in myself. The Holy Spirit indeed is a great teacher. This psalm was given to me to help me this week in focusing on God and not the circumstances. When I decided to just focus on Him, He came to provide what I needed. LOL My circumstance was a class full of 3 year olds and my teacher assistant out for the whole week sick which left me to rely on the LORD. It was a faith boosting week. He is a wonderful Teacher!
Many blessings to you!
Gabrielle

Dear Mary,
Thank you so much for your kind words.I am so happy that you enjoy reading what He gives me to write. I have indeed thought of a book, yet the LORD led me to set up my blog first and then He led me to this site shortly there after. I would love to do a book and in His
perfect timing, I can’t wait!
Many blessings to you!
