You Can Change Your Situation Right Now
There are some things you can do to change your current situation!
I release a lot of prophetic words on the times and seasons and how to respond to what is going on right now.
This week, I want to give you some practical instructions on how you can flip your situation around — and move closer to your destiny.
How to Flip Your Situation
1 Adjust Your View of God
How you view a situation is vital. There is a spiritual principle that what you focus on continually, will eventually come to you.
“If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you search for evil, it will find you!” Proverbs 11:27 NLT
I used to blame God when negative things happened to me. Then one day, a good friend of mine told me that it is not God’s nature to cause bad things to happen.
Wow, my life took a dramatic turn for the good that day!
We must change the wrong views we have of God to hear Him and respond appropriately.
2 Remember God Gives Good Gifts
We must remember that God is a loving father that longs to give good gifts to us. Focusing on this will align us for break through.
“Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:16-17 NIV.
3 Renew Your Mind
We must continually be renewing our mind away from the pattern of what the majority of people think. When we do this, it aligns us with God’s plan for our lives.
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s Will is — His good, pleasing and Perfect Will.” Romans 12:2 NIV.
Your thoughts can create a reality that is not always based on truth. In order to hear God and discover his “will” for our lives, we need to transform our thinking.
4 Develop Godly Character
The name of the road to spiritual promotion is called humility. However, most people try humbling themselves and suffer from false humility and lack of authority as a result.
Your ability to hear God is always going to be there. You MUST develop godly character so that God can trust you with more.
God’s True Destiny for You
God’s true destiny for you is found in this verse:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV.
God wants you to:
- Prosper
- Live a life of no harm (or fear)
- Have a hope and a future
- Get answers to your prayers ( as mentioned in verse 12.)
Turn the Negative Around
I find that many are experiencing the opposite of Jeremiah 29:11 in their life situations.
- Instead of prosperity, they have a poverty mind-set and debt.
- Instead of having hope, they are hopeless, distressed, and even depressed.
- Instead of a life with a clear vision, they have no clue about their destiny.
You can turn your life around today by asking God to remove the negative and bring His positive promises into your life.
Blessings,
