You Are the Child of a King!
No time to bow down ~ you are the child of a King!
Reverence, is a deep respect for someone or something. It is to show honor, regard, admiration and appreciation for an individual.
As I was meditating upon the LORD, He begin to reveal to me that when people feel as though they are not being honored and recognized, how it can bring about a wounded heart, rejection and even a spirit of bitterness and not to mention, a spirit of murder!
This type of spirit, to dishonor someone, can come because the person doesn’t feel you are entitled to be honored, or they feel as though their is something about you not worthy of the honor or recognition people are bestowing upon you!
But either way, it can bring much spiritual warfare when the person you are fighting against, is a child of the King!
All the king’s servants at the King’s Gate were use to honoring Haman by bowing down and kneeling before him — that’s what the king had commanded. Except Mordecai. Mordecai wouldn’t do it, wouldn’t bow down and kneel, (Esther 3:1-4).
For some reason or another, I believe that Mordecai discerned that their was something about Human that was ‘off ‘ and just did not sit with him, even when the king’s servant was concerned that Mordecai was being rebellious and disobedient to the king’s commandments!
This is why Haman had made the decree to kill off all the Jews!
You see, when Haman saw for himself that Mordecai didn’t bow down and kneel before him he was outraged. Meanwhile, having learned that Mordecai was a Jew, Haman hated to waste his fury on just one Jew; he looked for a way to eliminate not just Mordecai but all Jews throughout the whole kingdom of Xerxes, (Esther 3:5-6)
God is warning the people of God that the enemy is like a roaring lion going up and down in the earth seeking whom he might devour. (1 Peter 5:8)
Come on Somebody! He knows that those of the Kingdom are like Mordecai and they have made up in their mind that they will not bow down to the likes of the enemy; even if it brings about spiritual warfare in their lives!
Haman found out that Mordecai would not reverence him so he looked for a way to make him bow before him! Not knowing that God never intended for Mordecai to bow to him in the first place!
I know the Bible says, “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.” The authorities that exist have been established by God.
Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority?
Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good.
But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.
“Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor,” Romans 13:1-6.
But, God also let me know that many shall be put out of the synagogue for a testimony against the evil doers in this season!
They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God, (John 16:2).
The boy who was Blind from birth was put out of the synagogue because he testified that he was healed.
The Jewish leaders looked to bring accusations that somebody had sinned, because he was born this way to entrap Jesus!
Jesus answered, “Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him,” (John 9:1-3).
Some times God allows some things in our lives that He might be glorified such as sickness, divorces, bankruptcies etc., and it is a test of your faith!
But, the enemy will use it to say; you must have sinned! His parents knew that their son if he confessed Christ would be put out the synagogue and that is why they said to the Jewish leader, “Ask him, he is of age!”
Esther and Mordecai knew that wicked Haman was in authority and they saw something in Haman that the King’s servants could not discern and it was even hidden from the King himself until the LORD begin to deal with the King’s heart!
People can only hide for so long, until God begins to remove the false covering or mask they are wearing!
Mordecai refused to ignore the checks and balances in his spirit regarding wicked Haman and he and Esther put their minds together and fasted and prayed as well as Esther’s chamber maids and when they did God began to favor them in the eyes of the same king that has signed their death warrant!
You are a child of the king and when the enemy fails to reverence you; know that he is not fighting you but the God in you!
