You Are NOT Limited by Your Situation!
You should never allow your situation to limit who you are and who God has called you to be.
Never allow what happened to you to be the driving force for your life.
Yes, you might have been hurt, you might have been wounded, and yes you might have been afflicted but refuse to allow it to determine the course of your life.
Do not categorize or group yourself based upon what you have been through and what you are going through.
John 5:3-4 speaks about Jesus’s visit to Jerusalem to the pool called Bethesda with the five porches. In these porches there were sick people categorized with different sicknesses.
They grouped themselves based on their dysfunction. When you do this you restrict yourself from attaining and obtaining what heaven wants to do for and in you.
Listen, I have seen it and I hate it so much. I have seen people going through temporary struggle and allow the enemy to drive fear in them, try to box them in or try to intimidate them to hinder their level of growth.
As a child of God, we never accept defeat or accept what the enemy offers. The enemy will try to get you to settle or compromise to keep you stuck.
You may not know it but when you settle or compromise you forfeit your right to achieve and obtain what God has for you.
You settling or compromising makes you less effective in the earth.
Listen, the enemy cannot stop you but what he will do is try to get you to stop you.
Sometimes in the midst of going through what seems never ending is to persevere and press through.
You will never reach the other end if you are unwilling to walk through to the end. No matter the odds against you or the opposition you face, determine to never quit.
Never feel sorry for yourself. Love yourself enough to fight the good fight of faith and be truthful to who God has called you.
If you focus more on nursing your wound in a battle you give your opponent the upper hand over you.
Push yourself to the end. Do not allow the enemy to push you into the place of self-pity.
Self-pity takes your eyes off Jesus Christ and places your eyes on you.
It causes you to lose the momentum that was built up and places you in a state of weakness.
No matter your situation see yourself as who and what God has called you to be and not what you are going through.
Remember, you are victorious and not a victim!
“In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had,” John 5:3-4.
