You Alone Must Choose to Repent, or Else!
No man can be saved [delivered, set free] from anything without conviction, and then they must be willing to repent.
No man can be saved [delivered or set free or helped, even changed] until they want to be, or know they are in trouble, wrong, hurting or misled, and know they need to be [delivered, set free, helped, changed]!
No person has the power to force anyone or exercise authority over another persons will.
Even Jesus did not force anyone, but waited to see if they had faith, or believed. He even instructed them so they could believe, then gave them a choice to choose.
Jesus called men: come and see. Some did come, but others said we don’t need to do anything this man says to do, or they loved their sins or lifestyle too much to change.
Some were told by Jesus what they needed to do, but then Jesus watched them walk away refusing to do as he warned them to do.
Remember that even Jesus could work no miracles in Nazareth because of their unbelief.
I meet and talk to many people who are in trouble or are hurting, or are in spiritual darkness……. who do not want to be set free or even believe they are in need of anything.
Until a person is convicted by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, there literally is nothing anyone can do to force them to receive help, be changed, saved, or set free.
Nobody can force another persons will to obey.
Each and every person must be drawn by the Holy Spirit….. “Convicted“, and when that conviction sets in and troubles [reveals to them their need] then and only then can they repent [if] they choose to repent.
A person cannot even repent until that repentance is granted. Yes, granted. God knows exactly when a person can fully see and understand even their need to repent, and he knows when that person truly chooses or cry’s out for deliverance.
Many today simply are not convicted enough to repent.
Repentance means to turn around and go the other way.
Repentance means one is willing to change what he/ she is doing asking God for deliverance.
Literally, the day the person is set free is the day he/ she knows they are in need and want to be free. Until they know, they will remain in their torment, troubles, and life of misery.
They will be like those in Thyatira (Revelation 2:18ff) who did not know they were poor, blind, and miserable!
Please Note: The LORD did warn them in the Word that they needed to repent. Now, before that they did not know, and even after they read it, they then needed to admit it and seek forgiveness through real repentance.
Until a person truly knows and sees and understands their sin, they are trapped in it and cannot escape its terrible hold on their life.
This is why we need to preach the bible truths. Men must hear and be convicted, else there will continue to be trouble and hurt.
Is this not the reason the Church of today, in many places, goes on without revival and continues to go farther and farther away from God?
They do not hear the word preached any longer, and there is nobody who is speaking into their lives, words of truth leading them to repentance.
Remember, the exhortation in Romans 10 that says: “How can they hear without a preacher, and how can they preach unless they are sent?”
Remember as well the verse that says God has chosen the preaching to save those who hear and believe.
So many today are saying that we should exercise our authority over them and their circumstances and to set them free. They say just speak authority and they will be set free!!
Well, the real truth is, you cannot set them free by making a decree over them. God will not override their own will to choose!
Decree all you want to, and speak it all you want to speak, but you cannot force anybody to do it, or to repent.
You cannot set men free just by decree, but you can go to them and warn them and speak to them the word of God.
Then if they hear you, and want to be set free… then you can decree and use authority over their sins or sickness, demons, etc. When they cry out and choose to be free,,,, then, watch them fall down and find deliverance and freedom.
Just try setting a person free from a demon who does not want that demon to leave. See the person walk away with his demon [following the demons power] as long as they want that demon to control them, or they love the sin the demon does offer.
See a person helpless, who does not want really want deep inside, to be free. It will be most heartbreaking indeed, to behold this sort of bondage.
Yet we see it all the time in those who keep on drinking, because they like or love the drink and the way it makes them feel, or they love the cigarette for its result upon their feelings.
The fact is, many smoke out of pure rebellion because they like to suck on them.
I tell people all the time about their need to quit, yet they continue. Even the world knows it will kill people to smoke, yet they still rebel and refuse to stop sucking.
Why? Because they love to smoke.
Until a person knows and understands that it is killing them and is a sin against their own body unto the LORD, they will not be convicted unto repentance. And, even after they know the truth, they must be willing to repent.
Repentance is a free will decision. Anybody can repent when they are convicted……
When a person freely chooses, then when they cry out they find help immediately. But, until they choose, decree all you want to, they keep on in their bondage.
The illustration of drink and smoking is only two of the thousands of things that people are in bondage to, and must repent of in order to be set free. Many sins are out there and men must know and see their sins and be willing to repent, or even want to be free…
Yet many resist the Holy Ghost and refuse Him.
“No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. it is written in the prophets, and they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the father, cometh unto Me,” John 6:44-45.
“I tell you, nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in jerusalem?
I tell you, nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish,” Luke 13:3-5.
“and if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the Gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the Gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD,” Joshua 24:15.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service,” Romans 12:12.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God,” Romans 12:2.

I have posted this in obedience to the LORD.
LORD help those people see they must repent and choose themselves, and help many concerned to know that only the word of God and the Holy Spirit has the power to bring them to conviction.

Thank you for speaking God’s Truth even if many still try to get around their sins, they don’t want to hear the truth and don’t realize how wonderful it is to be free so they wonder around in bondage even when the have excepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. many don’t know the there is a cleansing in our life that needs to be done.
Thank you.
People always prefer to talk about others. I know many Christians who wanted to have results of conversions / proselytismns, and they totally underestimated the “sinful unbelievers”. They want the applause that THEY would have changed people. I sense since longer time that some devious people must have informed my friends here that I smoked some cigarettes. Yes, I was smoking since 1 year. Yes, I did… and I drank 1 or 2 beers after work, but not every day. I was never drunk and I always made my job, I worked harder than all the accusers. I already stopped smoking, and drinking wine or beer sometimes, is NO sin !
Being addicted to drinking, this is sin. I was hunted and stalked since at least 4,5 years – if anybody would really know what gang stalking causes – they would go ashamed to the ground and REPENT.
“Remember that even Jesus could work no miracles in Nazareth because of their unbelief”
Yes, this means that the supernaturally works and miracles from God belongs to the obedient children of God, those who walks in agreement with the spiritual laws. Many times I have prayed for ‘believers’ but when the prayer answer is delivered they still chose to believe that it could happened anyway.
Many believes that Jesus had no power to do miracles because of their unbelief but that is not the case. The one who is obedient(faithful) gives thanks and glory to God for even the smallest details in their life.
“he did not there many mighty works, because of their unbelief (disobedience and lack of gratitude) Matth.13:58
“because, having known God they did not glorify Him as God, nor gave thanks, but were made vain in their reasonings, and their unintelligent heart was darkened Rom.1:21
