VISION:

I saw an eagle sitting on a branch in a tree. The grass below it seemed to make a rustling noise, but nothing seemed to move at first.

The eagle looked down and then started to look intently at the grass. Using its keen eyesight, the eagle looked back and forth over the grass from where it was sitting.

Then the eagle took to flight. Flying over the grass and watching its every movement, as it swayed gently in the wind.

Suddenly the eagle started to dive swiftly and surely right into the grass, to its intended target.

Within minutes, the eagle was out of the grass with a snake clutched tightly in its talons. The snake however appeared to hang lifeless.

The eagle flew higher and higher with the snake still clutched tightly in its talons. Suddenly it dropped it crashing to the rocks below.

I thought to myself, well, if the snake wasn’t dead before, it certainly is now. Nothing would survive that drop onto the rocks.

INTERPRETATION:

The eagle represents the Prophets, which are rising up, even as the eagle rose, even stronger in these last days, as the Lord speaks through His Prophets to give warnings, encouragement, and as those who give directions from the LORD.

There is a need among the Body of Christ for those who truly speak with the LORD’s heart to rise up and come forth, as the enemy continues to send out those who would deceive God’s people.

Some are self-appointed, and only want to manipulate and control a crowd to get what they want or to gain the crowds’ treasures as their own.

Others speak through other’s hearts, or their own, rather than the LORD’s heart, again with intention to manipulate and control others to get what they want.

We will have to have the “eyes of the eagle” to see and discern good from bad, even when it is hiding in the grass around us.

The snake represents the enemy or evil that the eagle / prophet sees, seeks, and destroys twice, to make sure it is truly dead.
