The Wrecking Ball
As I was meditating upon The LORD He spoke to me how the mysteries of God belong to the saints of God.
And how that the carnal mind can not comprehend spiritual things of The LORD.
This is why Jesus used mainly parables and saying that it seemed as though the people of God or even sometimes His own disciples, couldn’t even understand.
Not only was this done in the New Testament, but the Old Testament as well! For instance, even with Moses, God told the people with Moses,
“I speak face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle,” Exodus 33:11.
I believe in this season, many shall have some special encounters (visitations) with The LORD, as He begins to invite them into The Holy of Holies as He did with His servant Moses, to speak to Him!
Everybody want be invited to sit with the Father, but it will be for those for whom it is prepared — His friends.
Why? Because of the conditions of the heart — The Temple of Christ!
For, the scripture says,
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are,” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17.
This Temple is supposed to be a Holy Temple known as The Body of Christ — which was to be preserved for God’s use only.
It was to be dedicated and consecrated unto The LORD after the individual made a conscious choice they would surrender themselves voluntarily and totally to God for His reasonable service!
But somehow, the carnal mind mistakenly thought that Jesus had come to tear down a temple that they had worked hard for and had been built for over forty years — to replace it within 3 days! Which would have to literally be a miracle to be performed.
But, Jesus answered and said unto them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up,” John 2:19.
This caused the Jews and the other religious sects to ponder this saying in their minds and to say, “This man must be insane, because this would be an impossible task that not even a person impersonating the Messiah could perform unless He was the Christ!”
But in this season, many shall come forth speaking revelations and encounters that many shall not be able to comprehend, if their minds have not been renewed or changed in this season.
For, God shall bring forth spiritual revelations and wisdom that the natural mind shall not be able to understand unless they are walking in the will of Father in this season! For many shall be left behind, because they will have disobeyed God.
The Holy Ghost shall nudge many to seek Him for a closer walk with Him and to even seek the baptism of The Holy Ghost, but many shall testify with their own mouth, “it doesn’t take all that!”
And, many shall go so far as to blaspheme not only God, but The Holy Ghost, testifying that there is no God, thus opening doors to lead them into eternal damnation forever! All because they refuse to accept the witnesses of Christ and the unction and the leading of The Holy Spirit to repent!
The LORD said to me that the Jews rejected Christ, His own people did, because they were religious and felt that what they had put in the temple, was more important than what Jesus was talking about, which was the dying and raising up His body!
This body that Christ was talking about, was more than His physical body, but this body was The Bride of Christ and the relationship He would have with the Church!
Do I mean the physical building? No! It is you! Your own personal temple: your body!
For Jesus tried to warn the Jews that something greater was coming: a wrecking ball! And, this wrecking ball was The New Wine Skin. It was going to tear down the old mindset (the old wine skin that could no longer stretch for new wine skin to use so the old had to be discarded) that Christ would only dwell behind the four walls of a building!
For The LORD said to me as I wrote this, “What good was a building that lacked holy vessels and God was not dwelling in those buildings?”
The Jews were carnal in their thinking, and to them Jesus had absolutely gone insane!
Isn’t that what has happened to the religious Church today, who value the building over the relationship of Christ, who came to be raised in both Authority and in Power to bring the New Testament Church into greater power and authority in Christ Jesus?
Our Saviour called His body a Temple in accordance with the common use of language, and more particularly because “in Him the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily,” (Colossians 2:9).
The temple in Jerusalem was the appropriate dwelling place of God for the Jews. However, His visible presence was there especially manifested, but Jesus let the Jews know that something greater is coming, than those buildings they had tirelessly worked hard to build (and had become their idols) these forty so years.
It was the raising up of His Body for The Body of Christ! (2 Chronicles 36:15; Psalm 76:2.) And so, because The LORD Jesus was divine — as the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in Him — so His body might be also called a “Temple.”
So when, therefore, He was risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the Word which Jesus had said, ( John 2:19-22).
How many of us trust and believe the scriptures, or do we just listen day after day, not believing or expecting God to reveal Himself in them — with no expectations of having any personal encounters or visitations with The LORD, but to keep hearing the same story of Christ, day after day, without any revelation or Rhema whatsoever, just like the Jews who felt God could only dwell in the physical temple, but who were ignorant to the fact that Christ’s Resurrection was the beginning of a whole new era of getting the gospel out, because even if the physical Church be destroyed ,as He told Peter, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon “this” rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
What Church was He talking about?
The temple, your body, because Peter had already denied him and contaminated his temple and needed to repent! He cussed, cut off the man ear, and followed Christ a far off!
What rock was Jesus talking about here, as a rock!? He was talking about Himself, something that was unshakable, unbreakable, strong, durable and immovable. Something not easily removed or could be burned with fire! Something Lasting!
God is getting His Bride ready for that GREAT day and preparation is everything the time will come when many physical Churches will face the wrecking ball.
But what you build eternally — shall not give way! (John 16:2)
