Words — We Must Speak them Carefully
We must guard our tongues always as Christian Soldiers of the Cross.
Still right now I feel there is a Special Warning to the Body of Christ! We are at the ‘end of the end’ of time as we know it!
Let’s always keep a right relationship with our Father and each other.
You see, we may not have the time to get things straightened up! We don’t want to call nothing in effect that is not Holy and of God. It is a choice to either speak life or death for the power is surely in the tongue.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21.
One thing when we slander others, whoever they be, it causes a ‘ripple effect’. Our words literally are full of life or either death.
We have a choice. We can operate in the gifts of the Spirit or ether flesh!
“For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:14-26.
The ‘harm’ is done, once the Words come out of our mouth! Have I ever failed?
Of course, but still I am being perfected. There just are no excuses in the Kingdom of God, for ‘any’ of us! I and we all, must be willing to examine our hearts every day!
Then repent and turn from this sin, if we are guilty. We must ask The LORD to put a bridle over our tongues. No man can tame the tongue, but guess what?
The Holy Spirit can tame our tongues!
“My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: but the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Therewith bless we God, even The Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.” James 3:1-12.
So in conclusion let’s all ‘Speak Life’!
The Father will be well pleased. We must keep in mind these final scriptures below.
If The LORD hates these 7 things, shouldn’t we? Our Choice, altogether!
“These six things doth The LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6:16-19a.

@ Ashley Thank you, me too. It hits me first daily checking my own spirit. All of us sure need a daily renewal and asking the Holy Spirit to control our tongues. Thank you.
@ Lynece George Amen, me too. The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword…. Hebrews 4:12 Thank you
Out of the heart…oh that we understood fully how to guard our hearts and control the tongue. Thanks for posting the critical issues that are life or death. Blessings, Sandi
@ Sandi Absolutely as the Father wont let us by with nothing. Such a beautiful, unlegalistic walk with the Lord! Still He corrects our, (my) ‘little foxes’. Oh to be so yielded, not to make the same mistakes twice! As I was listening to Heidi Baker’s Sept message through the night, conviction fell on me. What do I ever have to complain about now? Thank you.
This is a now word for me. Thank you for sharing it. So so so very convicted. Now I repent and recalibrate. Thank you again.
I believe and receive.
