Word of the Lord: Why do you minister?
Word of the Lord: 13 January 2015
The Lord talks a lot to me about attitudes and lately it is about attitudes to ministry and His Will. So the following Word does not come as a surprise to me and once again I must examine my heart as I send this out to others.
The Lord says:
Why do you minister?
Is it:
- Out of love and compassion for the person?
- Because it is there to do
- Because you are paid to do it?
- Because it gives you a sense of purpose and/or self-esteem?
My Father, I and The Holy Spirit serve you out of Love and not because we have to do it. It is part of our stewardship responsibilities toward you but it is not done because we have to do it but out of Love for you.
Speaking of stewardship, who owns your possessions : You or I?
How you deal with them will show who owns them.
All sin is bad stewardship. Remember that.
Also, where do you seek your rewards?
Our rewards are from your love to us as our rewards to you are a result of our love for you so we only give you what is best for you when it is best for you to receive it and not in the way you think it should be or when you think you deserve it.
Where do you seek your rewards?
In heaven or on earth or both?
If in heaven then you will serve me trusting me for the results.
If you seek them on earth you will serve me and become disillusioned when I do not appear to be working for your best or rewarding you.
Remember that I look at heart attitudes in what you do and not results.
Matthew 6:33 states that I will meet all your needs and not necessarily reward you on earth.
Hebrews 11:6 states that you must believe I will reward you but it does not say when, how or where I will reward you.
Part of the problem is what you believe a reward is and not asking me what it will be and when you will be rewarded.
I promise on earth to provide you daily necessities but they are not rewards but My Grace.
Remember you are told to lay up treasure (rewards) in heaven and not on earth where they are only temporary. So seek eternal rewards and do not be concerned if they are lacking on earth.
Remember, I promise to provide your needs but not necessarily rewards on earth and so you will need faith to believe and hold onto my rewarding you better in heaven and love me sufficiently to patiently wait for me to reward you when it is best for you in the way I determine is best for you.
Remember that the struggles on earth are only a blink of an eye when compared to the joys and rewards in eternity.
Also, The Father says to you
Be patient My Children
Trust my provision which includes any rewards you need on earth and let me work for you eternal best in my timing and not as the world says I should work.

Note the date:
13 stands for Rebellion. Not to trust God for your rewards and to take matters in your own hands is rebellion. Rebellion is not doing what God desires you to do. It is also Idolatry as you place your purposes and desires before those of God and become your own god.
1 is Unity. There is only one God and when you become your own God you are not in unity with the true God.
15 is perfect Grace which God gives to us to enable us to come back into fellowship with Him as well as is given to us in all He does and prepares for us now and in eternity, which includes the rewards He has for us.
“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” Matthew 6:33 (NKJV).
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV).
