Word of the LORD for October 2016
Entering into the Feast of Trumpets & the High Holy Days
The LORD has been speaking to me about two keys things that I believe we must carry with us during this season.
- Wearing the essential spiritual garments. This is vitally important to navigating through the various events that we will experience in this time.
- Learning how and where to be properly focused. Something equally relevant to the season we are entering into.
As we enter seasons where the climate begins to direct us into the proper dress or covering for the time we are in naturally it is also like that spiritually. The difference now is that instead of just wearing garments for the season we need to begin wearing the season like a garment. During this time, it is essential for us to wear the season of Tishrei.
As we meditate upon the significance of the hour it will put things in it’s proper perspective for what we must do and where we must go from here. So we see in the month of Tishrei, we see the 1st month of the year but we also see the 7th month of the biblical calendar with respects to Passover as being the first month.
The duality of being the beginning and yet the finishing or perfecting is significant in itself. The ability to peer through the eyes of the LORD at the finishing of a thing from the beginning of a thing is profound in itself. Becoming a reflection of God’s depth of vision, Ayin (to see, eyes).
We also see the beginning of autumn with the three Hebrew months, Tishrei, Cheshvan, and Kislev, corresponding to the three tribes Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin. (Each tribe has a corresponding season 12 tribes, 12 months/seasons, etc.)
Ephraim came from the meaning of “For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction”, but it also means “doubly fruitful”. We need to activate our creative purposes when we take on the garment of the time that we’re in.
Along with that this is looked upon as the month of the strong. If we begin to pray into these things than we will reset our mindset. So that we won’t think about going through any affliction without seeing the exceptionally plentiful harvest before us. Then we will begin to gain access to the fruitfulness of His wisdom, His glory, His life, and His favor. Obtaining the richness of His character so that He will reign in us.
Not letting defeat, fear, and struggle overtake our position or who we really are. So that we can possess “our double” in every area of our lives. Taking on the strength of the LORD as our portion. Moving forth wearing Tishrei and Ephraim as a garment.
Our second witness to that word is found in reference to Tishrei in 1 Kings 8:1-2. The word means Ethanim which means “Enduring Strength.” If we take on the strength of Jesus as set forth. In that scripture we see that the Elders gathered together to bring up the ark of the covenant.
Understanding that the LORD himself has set us as a strategy in the earth in this hour. Under the umbrella of the corporate anointing in the unity and strength of His manifested sons in the earth. We carry forth the mantles of Kings and Priest, as a thought process. We take off the garment of heaviness and put on the garments of praise in Worship to celebrate His presence. He is our clothing of the day that we must wear. We represent the season and the LORD and we will step out beyond our limitations.
When we put on Jesus we will have the right perspective when it comes to the most important things that we face now.
In this time dwelling in His presence will lead us into learning a strategy on how to transition from place to place under an umbrella of divine protection that is so needed right now. We must carry the presence of the LORD with us. As we go into the secret place and bring the secret place out with us as we go on our everyday journey. As a result, we will be able to make decisions not based on fear but upon the instructions of the LORD.
This is a time to realign our vision with the vision of the LORD not seeing what we see but by focusing our eyes on Him and thereby understanding and seeing through His eyes.
As I prayed and prayed about these meanings of significance He woke me up and gave me Hebrew 12:2 and within the scripture itself I saw an important process that we must remember in this time of total dependence upon Him. I begin to see the scriptures line up with great words of confirmation through simple truth.
“We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”Hebrews 12:2 (MSG)
“Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed – that exhilarating finish in and with God – he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.
Hebrews 12:2 (CJB)
“Looking away to the Initiator and Completer of that trusting, Yeshua – who, in exchange for obtaining the joy set before him, endured execution on a stake as a criminal, scorning the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
All the other translations said looking unto Jesus, but the Complete Jewish Bible says looking away (suggesting a redirection). When we look away from all those things that will keep us from looking at Jesus. Then we will stop dealing with things at ground level, and see things from a heavenly perspective.
In this hour, our choices have everything to do with where we are going. Because our choice in this hour will reflect our mindset, and whether we will walk according to His ways. Or if we are embracing and yielding to the promptings of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit as we move forward. We must be responsible enough to make decisions to choose that which will benefit us spiritually and not just naturally.
Our goal is the promise. Living out and walking out our destinies in Christ Jesus can be accomplished by focusing upon Him. Going by how He sees it and not the way our flesh wants to put it together. That is the difference in making Ismael decisions in a season that will bring forth the promise. Look beyond the chaos.
Of course I am not saying live in a fantasy land, but to watch for Him to direct you. Show you ways to navigate through every area of trouble, even how to avoid conflict, knowing when to fight and how to fight. These are principle things, right now.
Don’t lose sight of where you are headed there is a joy set before you!
Follow Jesus! Make that walk down the path to the cross having endurance, buffeting our flesh, and operating in true discipleship.
Some of us take care of our bodies better than our souls and some of us take care of our souls but neglect our bodies. We are in a time of needing to balance as much as we can.
Many of us have gone through so much until we are ashamed of some of the places we have found our lives in. Regretting unresolved issues, “if I could only”.
One translation says, “to not to allow shame to overcome you.” Despising the shame, (which means in the Greek); not allowing shame to have an effect upon us.
Shame can be the amplifier to the things we go through. We are many times processing issues through the looks upon others faces as to how they see us. But Jesus says if you are really on this journey with me than come on because I got a place to put that shame and it is the cross.
“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” Ephesians 2:5 & 6 (KJV).
“A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.” Psalm 110:1 (KJV).
We ask that you all would continue to sow into this work. Your seeds help makes it possible to bring forth a harvest in many others. We would like to thank the faithful few who do give no matter how big or small, we appreciate you.
You guys have no idea how much a small seed can help. God Bless you and I will continue to pray for all of you and your families!
