The Wolves Are Welcome in Today’s Church!
The scriptures warn us to be aware of wolves dressed up like sheep….
Well today, they don’t even need to be dressed up! All they need to do is say to everyone, “Oh, I am a Christian!”
The fact is, it is very easy to get through the doors and into the teaching positions [if any] in today’s Church!
Teaching used to be a God called and gifted individual, but today, they are self called and celebrated by their smooth talks.
There is almost a total lack of morals, and no rules in most Churches today. All one really must do is show up and smile. I believe they call it, ‘seeker friendly.’
Have you ever been to one of those ‘seeker friendly’ Churches where all they want to know is, “How are you today?”
The questions that ask “When were you saved or born again”” are never asked. After all, one shouldn’t put a newcomer on the spot, nor embarrass him!
Today’s Churches are full of wolves who only combed their “long” hair, polished their nails, and brushed their teeth. After all, all are welcome!
These wolves put on airs about themselves. To listen to them talk one comes away saying he said he was just like Jesus Christ.
No.. someone said… he said he was Jesus!
Then the argument goes on about who he is…..
All we need to do is dig a little deeper and find out what he really believes about the Bible. And who ever heard of “checking out one’s testimony of salvation”? Well, the wolf is so slick, questions slide off of him.
As s matter of fact…. he has an answer for everyone very well prepared.
Another test would be to go to his house and look for any Bibles laying around. Or, go for a talk and share problems to see if he gets his Bible and has a spiritual and scriptural answer.
Most wolves I see today do not carry a Bible. Why you could go to their class and they teach from some book and only reference “sometimes” the scriptures.
Shocking you? Am I?
Check it out … You know… The Bible thing…
Find out if he even believes the Bible?
And another thing to check is: how many times do they use the word “I” or look at what “I do”.
A wolf is there for only one reason. To scatter the sheep!
He knows if he can scatter them [from the church and their christian friends] they will be more easily killed, stolen from, and destroyed.
If your spiritual and being led by The Holy Spirit, you should recognize a wolf on sight. Sight, I said, sight.
Yes, he should stand out to you as a red light. And, if you are spiritual… The Holy Spirit will warn you.
The Scriptures say: His Spirit will bear witness with your spirit. What? His Spirit?
That’s right… The Spirit of God always recognizes himself!
If a person has been born of The Spirit, then The Spirit is inside. This Spirit bears witness with your spirit.
So guard your hearts, sheep! The wolves are getting very bold!
Scriptures:
“Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Therefore, by their fruit you will recognize them [as false prophets],” Matthew 7:15-20.
“I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His [own] life for the sheep. But the hired man [who merely serves for wages], who is neither the shepherd nor the owner of the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, deserts the flock and runs away; and the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.
The man runs because he is a hired hand [who serves only for wages] and is not concerned about the [safety of the] sheep,” John 10:11-13.
“Take care and be on guard for yourselves and for the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd (tend, feed, guide) the church of God which He bought with His own blood.
I know that after I am gone, [false teachers like] ferocious wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; even from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse and distorted things, to draw away the disciples after themselves [as their followers],” Acts 20:18-20.
