There was a time, when the presence of the LORD would settle in one of our services in a particular manner.

Everyone with the Holy Ghost could feel it. In truth, it was a common thing; there was a special hush and reverence to this.

It was strong, as if it somehow wrung the entire fibers of both soul and body. You know, I realize now, that I do not even have the words to describe it. It was indeed and still is a supernatural movement; all by itself.

Whoever was leading at the time, would state words that I haven’t heard in a long time now: “Church, let’s just wait on the LORD right now……”

And that’s what we did. These were and are those times when some of the gifts of the Spirit began to operate.

Utterances in the Holy Ghost might go forth; or, it might be that some event was about to transpire.

He wanted to move in a certain way; anything could happen. I feel such glory and joy, just thinking about that; life-changing moments.

Following the Spirit…. The impact that it has upon us and those around us, is unlike any other experience.

There is no kind of technology nor man-made performance, that can take the place of that.

There is no substitute. It seems that all sorts of operations go on in many places in an attempt to appear the same; it’s truly, no more than the absence of the real thing.

We have to seek to follow the leading of the Spirit. The more you seek the Spirit, the more you find the Spirit.

One might think that after all these years, we would have realized, that the Holy Ghost likes to be followed.

It likely would never have occurred to us, just how much He likes to have freedom. To be free, to move among God’s people and do the works He came to do.

To be honored, to be put first and not have such inferior human spirits constantly trying to get in His own way.

The Holy Ghost is again beginning to move on people in their homes; manifesting a depth many of us once knew before.

I believe that more and more are beginning to experience a stirring in their spirits. We have families, children and many of our grandchildren that are in trouble.

Over quite a few years now, there may have been an increasing lack of the deeper things of the Spirit. The race to have things and even this all out rush for obtaining technology, may have cost us much.

Operating without following the moving of the Spirit, is simply, operating in the flesh. And in the end, what you get is more flesh.

The people in the pews, can no longer say that they are not responsible for what goes on in their services.

It’s being said that Prayer Rooms, Altars and Altar Services are being done away with in many gatherings; or very abbreviated. It seems so much is planned and perfected; even the worship.

We’re not going to get very far in the days ahead and even now, at home, on the job or at church, without the leadership of the Holy Ghost. That’s just how critical our times have become.

Talk about having to be in constant touch with the Spirit. We might have known about that in days gone by; it will become each our own reality now.

LORD help me, but it is for me even now. I dare not move at all, without finding out real soon, where He is, where I am, and what is going on with me.

Can anyone understand what we’re missing?

What are we trading away; what experiences are we not seeing or having in our lives right now.

So much sickness, such brokenness and loss; such turmoil among us. It will take the Holy Ghost to stop the evil that is taking a hold and running rampant in this world.

The church has shaken off her responsibility in this matter. The Spirit, can lead us around roadblocks and many pitfalls; traps that have been laid for us. And He can take us places in Him, that transforms all this old world has to offer.
