With Elevation Comes Announcement!
With elevation comes announcement; no surprises!
God is revealing much to me in this hour about my insecurities, my weaknesses and my self-centeredness as a person of God!
He is taking out my desires to be seen, my desires to do things on my own, my desires to please others, even when they do not see things from my perspective!
It is as though I am an onion and all the layers are being pulled back and as the onion is peeled, the tears on the inside begins to flow.
The closer He gets to the core of the onion, the more pain I feel.
I weep in His presence, praying that the tears will cease!
I believe that God is calling me to a place of humility and transparency where He alone will be exalted in my life!
He is showing me what it truly means to be a disciple of His and what it means to truly die to self, and to my own visions in this season!
That is how you know that it is God taking you through the process and you are His chosen vessel
“For, he said unto me that there is a way that seems right unto a man but the end thereof is death,” Proverbs 14:12.
“As we all know, Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the LORD, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem,” Acts 9:1-2 KJV.
I believe that Saul truly believed what he was doing was his Christian duty! And like Saul, when we are doing things wrong, we go hard core and we stand even if we are wrong until…….
Now, if somebody would have tried to tell us what we were doing was wrong, there would be no way we would be compelled to listen to them!
Why? Because, whenever we are caught up in flesh and a place of carnality we think right is wrong and wrong is right!
Jeremiah said, “Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear: Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?” Jeremiah 5: 21-22.
This is a place that we as the people of God should try to avoid at all cost in this season as we find our intimacy with Him!
God had to get Saul’s attention, because I believe that God knew that Saul had a religious spirit and he was full of legalism like many of us today, who have been trained and taught by others in a variety of churches, that this is wrong, and that is right, until the Holy Ghost comes and throws a monkey wrench in all our so called religious beliefs and philosophies, showing us that all that we thought was right, is in fact wrong!
God is saying that many are set in their traditions and the old mindsets, but in this season, God is breaking those religious barriers, mindset and old traditional thoughts.
He is calling His People in a place of intimacy to truly get to know who He is, and who we are in Him!
“And as Saul journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, LORD?”
Saul was a man who was skilled in knowing the law, but he did not know who this JESUS was and who he truly had been persecuting the people of God because he was sure they were evil!
You see, Saul began his studies of the Hebrew Scriptures in the city of Jerusalem under Rabbi Gamaliel. It was under Gamaliel that Saul would begin an in-depth study of the Law with the famous rabbi. But the sad thing was, he did not know voice of God!
“And the LORD said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, LORD, what wilt thou have me to do? And the LORD said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do,” Acts 9:3-6 KJV.
God began to say to me, that so many can be working for the LORD just as Saul was, and still not have an intimate relationship with Him!
They can be going through all the teachings and studying who He is, and still miss Him at the same time!
He said that they can be great teachers, preachers etc., and be kicking against the prick! The anointed work of God! All, because they lack intimacy with the Father!
Jesus said to Peter, “flesh and blood has not revealed these things unto you but my Father which is in heaven.” The Rhema word of God! The desire to know who He is and what He has called them to do!
As I heard this, I began to weep in my spirit and on the inside questioning God and asking Him, “LORD, am I in your perfect will? Is there hidden pride or agendas that lie deep within my heart that requires circumcision?
Or am I twisting your word, all because I lack intimacy with you and maybe it is what I desire to here; the lust of the flesh?”
Sure we pray, we work in the Church, we give, and we go through all the religious acts, a form of Godliness of who we think God is, and what we think others want to see. But do we truly know Him?
Saul thought he did too, until he met Jesus on the road to Damascus: and suddenly there shone round about him a light from Heaven, striking him to the ground!
I believe the LORD is calling many into a place of intimacy in the body of Christ, in a place of vulnerability.
He is removing our spiritual clothes and stripping many to allow them to examine who Christ is in their lives and who they are in Him in this season!
Because like Saul, it is so easy to think we are on the right road, when in all actuality we are headed in the wrong direction!
I am so glad that U-turns are allowed in this walk and because we have the Holy Spirit, His Grace is what allows us a first, second and sometimes a third chance to get it right, just as it did Saul, who went from persecuting others, to being a disciple of Christ working in the Kingdom!
Even though many of the people of God questioned whether Saul had truly changed, God sent one of his own, Ananias, to confirm that Saul truly had been changed and that it was not a performance, but in fact he was called to be a chosen vessel unto Him!
You see, there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the LORD in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, LORD.
And, the LORD spoke to Ananias that Saul had truly changed and that what he was seeing was actually God working in his life because God knew the disciples would not believe it because Saul was a dangerous man!
You see, Saul had the backing of the Chief Priest to take all the Christians to bring them into captivity! (Acts 9:10-17 KJV)
WHAT AM I SAYING?
Well whenever their is truly a change in ones life and you are not sure about it all you need to do is ask the LORD?
Not sure who is called or chosen in the Kingdom to do great exploits inquire of the LORD!
Ananias and the other disciples wasn’t quite believing the act that Saul had changed either and I am sure many felt it was a trick to capture them but God being a God of order spoke to Ananias and confirmed it among the others in the body of Christ!
When God gets ready for his people to be elevated you want have to announce it but like Ananias God is going to be the one to announce you to the body of Christ just as he did Saul, Jesus and many other of his prophets in the Kingdom of God we’re also announced as God elevated them into the Jingdom and it was not a surprise!
Is Saul among the Apostles?
~ Apostle Geraldine Fisher
Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
