Wisdom is reserved for those who seek to learn, to change and to grow.

Pride and vanity are the doors that prevents the foolish from entering into The Secrets of Wisdom that can only be obtained by those who have matured to become teachable spirits.

The spirit of religion picks up a stick or a religious stone. It is quick to judge others, while slow to examine itself.

The Spirit of Love however, has no stick to pick up. No razor sharp Bible verses to quote or heavy stones of judgement and fault finding, to inflict pain with. No fingers to point and seeks for no splinters to find.

It has only the language of Love and Grace to offer.

That is why Jesus stood in silence and did not offer any words to defend Himself before Pilate. His defence was silence. He gave no response to “the language” of hate and accusation.

When wickedness was attacking Him through the cursing and mocking soldiers at the foot of The Cross, The Holy Spirit’s response through Him spoke the language of forgiveness, Grace and Love.

“Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34.
