Wisdom on Destiny Relationships
Many people cry out for ‘destiny relationships’, some call them ‘destiny helpers’, some merely want connections for their own cause.
Everyone with deeply sincere heart to fulfill the purposes of The LORD will walk through significant ‘trial’ moments before The LORD entrusts them with the most important covenant destiny relationships for the success of their mission on earth.
These trial moments will come either by permission or by confrontation by these characters — the character of the religious spirit, the character of the occultic spirit, and the character of the orphan spirit.
* The religious spirit is territorial in nature.
It aims to suck one into a religious system where it has or is constantly attempting to build a structure that shuts out the ministry of The Holy Spirit to that destiny, then it can bind and snuff out the life of that calling, leaving that one full of works but outside the core mission, anointing and predestined field of labor.
Many with great zeal get swept away under this influence.
* The cultic spirit is very prevalent but requires discernment by The Holy Spirit.
Unlike the religious spirit, the occultic spirit seeks out the highly gifted destinies of promise, lures it into its chambers, but covenants them to strange masters with or without their knowledge — eventually turning them and their gifts into tools of the strange master.
They work through systems, structures that pose as platforms for destinies, yet are trading places where destinies are raped and twisted — they offer the platform of freedom, yet covenant people who are lured to strange masters.
Many who are opportunistic and have an unholy hunger for the spotlight fail this test.
* Then there is the orphan spirit.
These are those who have been hit by the vicious system of religion, and/or the claws of the occultic spirit, and carry a deep feeling of hurt in their hearts for the things they have experienced.
Their weakness is in their expectations — the level of expectations they placed on those they expected much from, rather than having a consistent relationship with everyone through the plumbline of discernment the Spirit of The LORD is given to establish in their hearts.
They eventually leave their hearts shut out to both the good and the bad — so they fail to honor the good and hence deny themselves the fruits that good relationships bring.
Without the character and wisdom that these trials build in those who are set on course for these trials, it may be difficult to steward righteous covenant relationships The LORD intends to entrust into our care that will help bear the fruits that covenant destiny relationships can bear.
There is an indescribable beauty in covenant relationships established by The LORD. The potential they bear is tremendous.
In them is The Scripture fulfilled, One will chase a thousand, two will chase ten thousand; He who walks with the wise shall be wise; and a company of fools shall be destroyed; more so The Scripture; “He who has friends must show himself friendly….” (Proverbs 18:24).
If The LORD would trust us with his trusted laborers to co-labor with us, then he wants to see that our hearts when tried will exude honor borne out of discernment for the workings of The LORD in the hearts of those he knits us with.
Amongst many gifts, the gift of a sincere heart is the best to share the weight of The Burden Of The LORD the calling puts on us.

I am uneasy when Christians seek to form a “covenant” with each other as a basis for unity, since this is not Biblical, and because the covenant which each one should have with Christ should be the sufficient basis for the unity of the Body. The only example of people forming an extra covenant in the New Testament I can recall is in Acts 23: 12 where some Jews covenanted together to kill Paul.
The parts of my physical body do not need to “covenant” with each other in order for it to function, because it works organically in a natural way. The Church in Christ may be said to work organically in a supernatural way. The only extra covenant between Christians, which does not add to Scripture – and which, therefore, is not evil – is the marriage covenant, but this indeed is a reflection of Christ’s marriage with His Bride [Ephesians 5: 31-33].
