Will you fold, like a cheap suit?
Peer pressure is non existent on an infant, very light during childhood, but becomes a major issue during the teenage years. During adulthood peer pressure is joined by pressure from those who have money and authority effecting your status in life. Pastors and spiritual leaders are under heavier pressure to conform because the forces of darkness add their power and many quickly cave and fold like a cheap suit.
My word is regularly compromised, and watered down to appease the politically correct crowd. In order to be on popular TV shows pastors are pressured to deny portions of My word, while the hosts designs their questions to trap them into that denial. Most do not stand against homosexuality, perversion, or abortion. They deny with a weak response like, “we do not get into the personal lives of people!” The moment this happens, these pastors have folded and compromised with Satan’s kingdom, in order to gain his vote, and remain popular. This denial stands as proof that they have not yet been converted and only “have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof: from these leaders you must turn away,” 2 Timothy 3:5.
Any time you are obeying Me, there will always be pressure from, peers, authorities, or money people to change your mind, and alter your course or suffer the consequences. You can expect anything from a cold shoulder, to being ignored, to outright threats of expulsion to come your way. If you want to endure to the end you must “find your strength in Me, and in the power of My might. [11] Put on all of My armor, that you may be able to stand against this pressure of the devil.
“[12] Keep in mind you are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against pressure coming from principalities, powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world. Those applying pressure for you to compromise, are backed by spiritual wickedness in high places. [13] So it is a must that you put on all My armor, in order to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, just stand, and refuse to fold like a cheap suit,” Ephesians 6:10-13.
“Always remember near the end, “those who refuse to fold will be hated of all men, not only for their stand, but for My very name’s sake: and only those who refuse to fold and endure unto the end, will be saved,”” Mark 13:13.
