Will YOU Bow Down?
Some music the people of God want be able to dance to!
The LORD begin to speak to me that there are some people who love to cause difficulties in the lives of others, because they know you are in a place of consecration and dedication to the LORD!
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was faithful in there consecration to the LORD and they loved to worship God, but the enemy found a way that he thought he could stop them from serving the God of The Most High God, by using some Babylonian fortunetellers who stepped up and accused the Jews.
They said to King Nebuchadnezzar,
“Long live the king! You gave strict orders, O king, that when the big band started playing, everyone had to fall to their knees and worship the gold statue, and whoever did not go to their knees and worship it had to be pitched into a roaring furnace,” Daniel 3:8-12.
And, they went on to say that everyone but Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are following your orders! So, they accused them of being a trouble maker in being rebellious to the king’s commands.
I begin to ponder on what a troublemaker is, and the dictionary said a Troublemaker is:
A Troublemaker: Is one who cause difficulty or problems, especially by inciting others to defy those in authority: a rabble-rouser, rogue, scourge, agitator, an instigator, agent provocateur (Provokes trouble), ringleader. © Webster’s Dictionary.
Isn’t it funny how folks can so easily point a finger and accuse you of what is in their own hearts?
The wicked fortune tellers were so quick to point a finger at the Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego for standing up for what they believed was right not, because of the king’s commandments, but because they had a problem with the God the three men worshiped!
But Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said,
“Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up,” Daniel 3:16-18.
Get ready in this season, because I believe that God is saying that the enemy is about to turn up the heat on many of God’s people in this season!
You might think that it is because of something that you did, but it will be because of the consecrated life style you are carrying in your womb, in this seasons!
Demons hate the consuming Fire of the Holy Ghost and they love the dry places and those places that will not disturb their nest, or their resting places.
They do not fear, because they are powerless!
They will also fight to hold on to those vessels on which they have a stronghold and have held on to for long periods of time.
These wicked men knew that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were honorable men and the only way they would be able to get rid of them, was to find away to destroy them!
And, what better way than to go to the king to stir up trouble, regarding their God!
But Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow down to the king’s little gods and his statues, even if it meant them loosing their positions and even their very lives!
God is going to require something of His People and those whom He has on the front lines in this season!
They will be called, not to bow down to the enemy and all he has to offer, but will be called to rise up and to hold on tight to their faith in the times of great persecution and trials!
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego loved to worship God, standing in His presence, but they knew that there was only one true and living God and they refused to compromise with the enemy, just to hold on to a position and to be in the good graces of the king!
You see, King Nebuchadnezzar built a gold statue, ninety feet high and nine feet thick.
He set it up on the Dura plain in the province of Babylon. He then ordered all the important leaders in the province, everybody who were anybody, to the dedication ceremony of the statue.
They all came for the dedication, all the important people, and took their places before the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had erected, (Daniel 3:1-3 MSG) except Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who refused!
God wants to know in this season, will you bow down to the king’s dainty meats or will you refuse for all he has to offer, just to be a part of all that the world has to offer?
For, I believe that God is saying, that if the people of God don’t begin to stand for something, they will fall for anything!
For, there is a time and a season for all things!
…. and, the time has come, to STAND!
