Will YOU Be Ready for His Return?
As I begin to meditate upon the parable regarding the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), I began to inquire of the LORD regarding why He chose to use the virgins in this story and what it had to do with them not being ready for His return.
Because, the scriptures never stated these foolish virgins where doing anything that would demonstrate that they had defiled their temples in any way, shape, form or fashion!
However; according the dictionary, the word virgin is a state of a person who has never engaged in sexual intercourse.
That person has made up their mind that they will remain unmarried, pure, and uphold a set of morals that represent both honor and dignity, regarding his or her body.
But, as I begin to read the story carefully, I noticed that the problem here was that 5 of these virgins still lacked something that was ever so important to the LORD; faithfulness and dedication!
Matthew 25:1-3 says,
“The kingdom of heaven was likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. And, they that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them….”
I said, “LORD how is it these five foolish virgins could still represent purity and still miss heaven?”
He let me know that many will have a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away, (2 Timothy 3:5).
When He revealed this to me, I begin to see that so many will have all the forms of what a virgin looks like: as well as holiness, but they will still miss heaven!
Help us Holy Ghost! I mean, going through the motions of what is expected of a saint (virgin) but your heart is truly not in it!
“You have religion, tradition, the singing, the dancing, the tongues and even the shout but you do not have My Heart, My Mind and My Spirit,” saith the LORD!
The LORD is speaking ever so clear in this season and He is saying that many have allowed the enemy to still [quieten] that true oil in their lamps, because of unfaithfulness! But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. They all looked identical, but something was ever so missing!
At midnight there was a cry made, “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
Then the foolish said unto the wise, “Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out….”
I asked myself, “LORD, didn’t they realize that their lamps had gone out?” The LORD said to me that some folks have played church so long, until they think what they are doing is normal. Meaning that their conscious has been branded [seared] with a hot iron! (1 Timothy 4:2)
This means that their consciousness has been rendered insensitive.
Such a conscience does not work properly. It’s as if “spiritual scar tissue” has dulled the sense of right and wrong.
Just as when animals have been branded by an iron, at first it hurts, but after a while they just stands there as if nothing bothers them anymore.
Like the hypocrite, one becomes numb. They become heartless like a snake, with no heart or consciousness of biting you or injecting you with its poison.
The hypocrites are mouthpieces for evil spirits, since they declare things taught by demons and they are hypocritical liars, since they wear a mask of holiness, but are full of falsehoods.
But the wise answered, saying, “Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.”
So many that are unfaithful are trying to imitate and to duplicate somebody else’s holiness, but God is saying that it is time to get this thing for yourselves!
No more copy cats! No more camouflaging and no more piggy backing off of somebody else’s anointing, but He is calling for a relationship with him!
The five foolish virgins had evidently forgotten that in order to become a bride, one has to have more than just the form and the fashion of a virgin, but is called to be faithful to her husband, not just in the appearance of a virgin, but in heart as well!
They all looked like virgins, but when it came time to trim their lamps, there was no power to do so!
Come on somebody! The false church has imitated the bride for way too long. “No more,” saith the LORD!
“And while they went to buy, (to make preparations) the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, LORD, LORD, open to us. But he answered and said, ‘Verily I say unto you, I know you not.’
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
I believe in this season the LORD is silencing His presence from many who have piggybacked on the true Bride long enough and God is going to come seeking accountability from those who are continuing to play Church in this hour!
Will you be ready for His return?
