Why Must the Nations Rage?
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision,” Psalm 2:1-4.
“Why must the nations rage and say a vain thing?
I tell you that the nations are awaiting to see what will be happening to your land.
For there will be a changing of the guard. The one who is now the leader of your land will be forced out — another one waits in the wings.
For everything that has been said and done about him will finally come to a head.
For the fury of all these activities will cause a backlash in your economy. His demise will be certain.
But My Plans are to bring about a people who are strong and who are not dependent upon the leaders of the land.
For your alliance was never meant to be given to a man.
My people Israel had always wanted a king and yet Samuel was grieved about their choice, but I chose a young shepherd boy from the fields.
But you will never have a leader like him again. My Kingdom will last forever and its courts will always be ruled with justice.
The fury that comes upon your land will cause men’s hearts to fail them, but those who look to their true king will be brought safely through.”
