I am serious about God, and each day, I am reminded as to why I need to go after Him.

My heart breaks for those who are falling away, have fallen away, and no longer have the desire to go after or seek Christ.

However, I am never moved, and by The Grace of God, I will never be moved by those who decide to walk away from Christ.

I am sorry, but it does not take, and should not take a person’s decision to quit on Jesus, for us to walk away from Christ — I mean, our Faith was never tied to or in a person.

I truly thank God for those who lead and have led many to Christ. I mean; it was their zeal and their passion for Christ that provoked some of us faith in God.

I have been saved way too long to allow people’s decisions of walking away from Christ to shake my belief or Faith in God.

One would ask the question though: what would cause a person who has walked with Christ for so many years, to suddenly give up on God?

I won’t say I have the the answer, but I will say this: one’s cosmetic relationship with God — which is often fueled by pride — and often leads to one’s unwillingness to be honest or naked before Him; bargaining, or one’s lack of surrendering to Christ.

You know, limiting Him to a certain area of one’s life. Telling God, You can have this part of my life — but refusing to surrender all.

Living for Christ is not easy, and with the reality of the times we are living in, it won’t get any easier.

However, with the help of The Holy Spirit, who is more than able to keep us from falling, it can be done.

As we seek to journey with Christ in the coming days and months, let us seek to draw closer to Christ.

Allowing Him to invade our space, allowing Him to see our nakedness and permitting Him to work on those ‘not so beautiful’ parts of us which will open up to us levels of healing and freedom we have never experienced before.

I believe this will help us to access the supernatural.
