Why do so many people simply not want to listen to those who “call themselves” Christian?

Sadly… They see all kinds of rules, shame, formulas and messages filled with the promise of an easy life. And yet…. The real Christ, has never been shown to them. It’s been displayed as one of man’s own interpretations or a fabricated misuse of Christ’s life to promote their brand of “truth”.

My friends. The real Jesus suffered. He ached. He chose to identify with the heartbroken and the lost. He chose to arrive on earth in a humble and vulnerable form. He was hunted to death since he was an infant.

He understands betrayal.

He understands loss.

He understands anguish.

He understands the shaming and the abuse of the ego driven.

HE lived through it all intentionally.

As a man and as God.

Why?

So that you and I would know that He understands our aches and anguish. And that He would be that ONE someone…

…..Who would do something about it.

He came… To die for the sin and vile abuse of mankind, in exchange for His life, to cleanse and save ours from what we deserve.

This Christ. This God/Man is who you and I need. He will show you the way home…one step at a time. And He will never, EVER abandon you, or make you jump through hoops to earn His love.

He gave His love freely on the cross knowing that you might never care to know how much it cost. But… He proved His love… Paid with his life for your sins… And waits…. And Prays…

For You.

Yes… He is STILL giving Himself for you and I today.

He stands in the Face of God the Father and speaks our names…. Knowing that Father hears them, and that His own Son, brings us before Him in His Resurrection Authority and love.

This… Is the Jesus Christ that you can trust. Forever.

“But God showed his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us,”
Romans 5:8.

“We love because he first loved us,” 1 John 4:19.

“For God loved the world so very much, that he gave his only Son to them, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life,” John 3:16.
