Have you ever wondered why when many people pray for Revival that it does not happen?

We know that the Lord wants all men everywhere to experience a genuine revival and that it surely is His perfect will for us all. We know this from the teachings of many Scriptures which speak directly about His desire for revival among his people. Then why does Revival Terry when men pray; why does it not happen immediately following prayer?

The answer is not far away and one which should be easy to understand.

I have known of some who meet together for years on a weekly basis seeking revival. Just one such group I know of now who are praying on a regular basis every week and have prayed for many months. This is a group of preachers and mostly pastors and of churches. They are the very leaders who should be praying, yet revival has not come and there is no sign of it coming, that I can see.

There may be many who read this that could speak of many possible reasons and and many of those reasons could be partially true, but I believe there is ONE REASON why that mainly exist in many cases that cause Revival to terry. That one reason can be understood when you consider the following:

These preachers and others, who are praying have their set of beliefs and also their denominations. Down inside they see do not understand or see anything except that their beliefs are good. There is, (in their opinion) no possibility that anything needs to be changed about their doctrines and church. I hear them praying and saying to God all that needs to be done is to be blessed to prosper with souls to fill the empty seats in their churches. This alone would be revival to them, just to have many new converts saved and enlisted into the Church.

It is also part of their praying that God would break down the walls between believers and that everyone would love each other. So they really are looking and asking for UNITY among the Churches.

The reason why that Revival has TARRIED, and it is still not realized, even after years of praying is:

GOD CANNOT BLESS THEIR MESS.

If God did bless them and send many new people into those churches who really are DOCTRINALLY WRONG in many ways than He would be approving those doctrines and saying it really does not matter. Even Unity cannot be attained because they themselves do not agree. Jesus said, How can two who do not agree walk together. Is it not clear to all that Jesus Christ can not bring unity until there is unity? Yet they want Revival in the midst of all this confusion and disunity.

I say that there will NOT BE REVIVAL, until men are WILLING TO CHANGE. Revival will REQUIRE CHANGE. If and when a true Revival comes to those churches, THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL DRIVE A BULLDOZER THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR OF THE CHURCH and there will be RADICAL CHANGE. The fact is CHANGE IS BRINGING MEN INTO AGREEMENT WITH GOD.

So men should pray humbly for GOD TO REVEAL THE WRONG AND TO SEEK TO BE MADE INTO WHAT GOD WANTS IN THEM. Did not the Scriptures say…

IF MY PEOPLE WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK HIS FACE…..

He meant by that MEN SHOULD SEEK WHAT GOD WANTS and not what MAN WANTS.

True Revival, like I said, will BRING CHANGE.

The fact is FALSE DOCTRINE WILL BE THROWN OUT… AND I BELIEVE EVEN DENOMINATIONS TOO… BECAUSE GOD DOES NOT TALK ABOUT DIFFERENT CHURCHES… HE TALKS ABOUT …

ONE CHURCH!!
