Why Did Jesus Have to Shed His Blood?
This morning I was having fellowship with the LORD while taking a very early morning shower as I was preparing for the office, I asked the LORD saying, “Why did Jesus have to shed His blood to redeem the earth back to the regenerated man?”
His answers came so swiftly, like He has been waiting for me to ask Him.
This is what the LORD said to me in response:
“There are two worlds – the spiritual and the physical (earth).
The life in the spiritual world is the word (the words that I speak unto you are ‘spirit and they are life’)
In the natural, life is in the blood.
For Jesus to redeem the earth back to you, it was necessary He came to earth (the word became flesh and dwelt among us) and to give His life which is in the blood (life is in the blood).
When men took His life (death by shedding His blood) they actually released it to flow into the earth and in doing this, He purchased the earth back from the devil who stole it from Adam.”
Wow!
I hope this will bless you this morning…?

THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOUR BLOOD, THE BLOOD YOU SHAD FOR US SO WE WOULD LIVE. I AM SO THANKFUL, WITHOUT YOUR DEATH AND BLOOD SACRIFICE THERE WOULD BE NO LIFE OR PEACE IN A BORN AGAIN CHILD OF GOD.
AMEN.
just one drop can break all the horror and the darkness.
The devil was defeated by Jesus on the cross. Col 2:14-15. Didn’t deserve a payment from the Lord. Please correct the erroneous statement:”…He purchased the earth back from the devil…”.
Dear Teshome,
Jesus gave His life for us.
That was a great price to pay – the greatest.
When one pays a price, surely it is called a purchase?
Thanks for your response. Yes, Jesus did pay for all of our sin debts(past, present and future). The payment was to satisfy God’s perfect justice against us. And the payment was not made to the devil. Do you think the devil received the payment? That is an insult to our Precious Lord.
I also inquired of the Lord why the shedding of blood for the atonement of sin and He answered the same, that life is in the blood.
The blood of sacrificial animals, however, is different from the blood of Jesus, because His blood alone is holy and clean, able to cleanse wholly. Satan thought he was shedding just more blood when Jesus was beaten and crucified but the blood of Jesus was different, hallelujah, and defeated him!
