When you get to thinking that you are the “corrector”, then you need to refocus!

If you see prophets who are always correcting someone or some group, in a demeaning way or in a way where they seem to be talking down to people, then they are in their flesh.

According to God’s Word, here are the things we are to think about instead of people’s faults — and by the way — nine times out of ten they are doing the same things according to scripture.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things,” Philippians 4:8.

And here is what New Testament prophecy is actually suppose to be…

“But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort,” 1 Corinthians 14:3.

The word prophesieth here in the Greek is:- προφητεύω, prophēteúō, prof-ate-yoo’-o; from G4396; to foretell events, divine, speak under inspiration, exercise the prophetic office:- prophesy.

The word edification in the Greek is:- the act of one who promotes another’s growth in Christian wisdom, piety, happiness, holiness.

And the word exhortation in the Greek is:- a calling near, summons, (especially for help) importation, supplication, entreaty, exhortation, admonition, encouragement consolation, comfort, solace; that which affords comfort or refreshment

The word comfort here in the Greek is:- any address, whether made for the purpose of persuading, or of arousing and stimulating, or of calming and consoling;

So if you look at this in the context of New Testament Prophecy, we are not to be focused on what is wrong with people, because if we are to prophesy to them, we must see them like God sees them — not that what they are doing isn’t wrong or sinful, but as prophets, we are to see like God sees and see the potential and the future!

When God looks at us He sees us through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ His son. He did that so that we could come into his presence sin free, because He can not dwell with sin.

He did it to bring us into our full potential and destiny! He did it so that when He looks at us, he sees who he made us to be, not who we are in our fallen state! He did that so that we could be what His heart planned for us before the foundation of the world.

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved,” John 3:17.

We Are to See What He Sees

So now He placed His Spirit in us and gave us His Heart and Mind to be able to see that too, and so after Jesus died and gave that to us, we too can have His eyes and ears and our voice needs to be speaking His Heart to people who are not only lost, but to The Church!

We must see what Papa sees for their future! We as prophets are to promote their growth.

If we are truly moving in New Testament prophecy, then we are to “draw them nearer,” or closer to God and tell them what He sees in them, not what we see with our fleshly eyes!

So to all those who want to say that we should be focused on the wrong in people and in the world, that just isn’t scriptural!

We as prophets are to bring that exhortation, edification, and comfort! That is our calling if we are to call ourselves New Testament prophets.

We are to tell them that Jesus made a way to be free from the sin, not call out their sin!

I declare to you that it is time for us to come out of our old way of thinking in the Church and come into God’s thinking!

So below is what we are all called and anointed for. Not for condemnation but….. well, you will see!

“The Spirit of The LORD God is upon me, because The LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor.
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of The LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of The LORD, that He may be glorified,” Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV).

This was a Bible prophecy concerning Jesus which Jesus quoted when he walked into the temple and opened the Scripture and said, “This day this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Yes, we are to be like Him. We are to walk as He walked and see what He saw in people and bring the Good Tidings!

It is time to speak His Heart and mind!
