Who we are is incomplete
We are an unfinished story; a book partly read. We are a work in progress waiting to be perfected through the blood of Jesus. What we see is incomplete. What we know is incomplete. Who we are is incomplete.
With each turn of the page we discover more of what our Creator has in store for us. Through Christ’s grace we become more and more like Him. With each act of surrender another broken piece is put in place.
Are you at peace knowing these things to be true? Are you content to be clay taking shape according to the will of the Potter? Will you “be still” through the molding process He has in store for you? Are you relying on His promise that some day you will know even as you are fully known?
So take the book a page at a time. Allow Jesus to perfect you a day at a time. Allow Him to mold you one turn at a time on the Potter’s wheel. Only Jesus can transform the broken pieces of our lives into a masterpiece but He does it a day at a time.
