Who Is Like The LORD?
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ! Today is the day the LORD has made and we shall rejoice in it!
On my vacation this last week I was blessed to have seen this spectacular sign in the sky created by our mighty LORD! In fact, the previous days, after the HOLY SPIRIT had given me an assignment there, I started to see eagles everywhere; an eagle in the sky flashing its wings 5-6 times very rapidly while maintaining its place motionless in the sky above me.
It was a sight I have never seen before! And also a placard coming into town that I had never noticed before: Home of the Eagles.
There was an eagle in the center of the round sign with the wording around it. All of these were confirmation of obeying the HOLY SPIRIT and, of course, I would find out the next day more of what The LORD was saying about how He is moving right now on our behalf.
Now back to the sunset picture.
At first when I saw the sunset with my own eyes, I did not see this.
The stormy skies were forming the clouds into an upward sweeping motion with a blazing sunset behind it.
I was excited though to see the spectacular storm forming in front of me.
As I proceeded to snap more pictures, and looked at each one, I started to see something forming within the clouds.
I knew what it was instantly! A mighty eagle! God was showing me His Eagle! Once again!
I was super excited but also awe-filled. All of these signs of eagles right in front of me!
I asked my family, who was with me at the time, if they saw what I saw, but they did not see it. I thought that was odd. But I knew I what I saw.
The next morning the LORD led me to Habakkuk 3 with the specific verse from Habakkuk 3:19:
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.”
I was intrigued, so I read the entire chapter of Habakkuk 3 and knew The LORD was speaking of what He is about to do on this earth.
That same day in the afternoon, when I had a chance to be alone with The LORD, this psalm came, starting with the first two repeat lines of “Who is like The LORD?”
Praise The LORD in all His Greatness!
WHO IS LIKE THE LORD?
Who Is Like The LORD?
Who is like The LORD?
Who is like The LORD?
He moves across the earth in splendor
Bringing Glory Storms
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
Oh we stand in awe of Your Deeds
Oh LORD repeat them in our day
In our time make them known;
In wrath remember mercy
Oh Holy One from Mount Paran
Who is like The LORD?
Who is like The LORD?
He moves across the earth clothed in splendor
Bringing Glory Storms
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
His Lighting flashes
His Thunder rumbles
High above He rises from His Throne
Here He comes filled with Power
His Glory covering the heavens
On wings He soars
He descends
A Mighty Eagle to defend His People
His Eyes ablaze with wrath and fire
The Sun of Righteousness is here!
Who is like The LORD?
Who is like The LORD?
He moves across the earth clothed in splendor
Bringing Glory Storms
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
He flashes His Wings
Striking the enemy—
Striking!
Striking!
Striking!
Striking!
Striking!
Scattering the enemy!
Who is like The LORD?
Who is like The LORD?
He moves across the earth clothed in splendor
Bringing Glory Storms
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
He flashes His Wings
Striking the enemy-
Striking!
Striking!
Striking!
Striking!
Striking!
Scattering the enemy!
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
Who is like The LORD?
Who is like The LORD?
He moves across the earth clothed in splendor
Bringing Glory Storms
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
Oh, who is like The LORD?
MiGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
MIGHTY, MIGHTY, MIGHTY is HE!
Oh, who is like The LORD?
“But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.” Malachi 4:2/
“Now Elisha had been suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. “My father! My father!” he cried. “The chariots and horsemen of Israel!”
Elisha said, “Get a bow and some arrows,” and he did so. “Take the bow in your hands,” he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands.
“Open the east window,” he said, and he opened it. “Shoot!” Elisha said, and he shot. “The Lord’s arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!” Elisha declared. “You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek.”
Then he said, “Take the arrows,” and the king took them. Elisha told him, “Strike the ground.” He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, “You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.”” 2 Kings 13:14-19.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, you are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty,” Psalm 104:1.
“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11.
“To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1
“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:3.
