To some He is merely a fictitious character.
To some He is a part of superstition.
To some He is an expression; a few choice words spoken as a meaningless name to curse objects, events and people.
To some He is a man who lived long ago and built a new religion.
To some He is found only on the other side of the church doors but He is neither relevant nor a reality in their lives.
To some He is a military leader who commands army charged with pointing out and correcting the evils of this world whether real or imagined.
To some He was a great prophet but still just a man.
To some He is a prayer prayed long ago at a vulnerable time in their life that they now use as a crutch to justify why they have inherited an eternity in heaven.

He is the maker of the heavens and the earth.
He is the author of salvation.
He is the spotless Lamb.
He is the deliverer from chains.
He is the hope when all seems hopeless.
He is the light even in the darkest nights.
He is bigger than any box and much more than we could ever contain.
Still, despite all His greatness He is the one who knows us better than we know ourselves.
To these who know Him in such an intimate way He is much more than words can state.

He is the force that set the universe into motion and He is the force that is at work inside them as He shapes, molds and transforms those He calls His own.
He has just one name and yet He means so many things to so many people.
