Who Has Bewitched You?
Who has bewitched you, My Love?
Who has convinced you that evil is stronger than He who is Good?
Are sickness and disease stronger than the blood of the Lamb?
Is death stronger than My Love?
Can the devil have his way over you, or do you possess weapons that will defeat the evil one?
Oh yes, My Dear Child, you are MORE than a conqueror through Him who loves you. I have given you MY authority and MY Name to cast out devils and TRAMPLE the serpents and scorpions and crush ALL the power of the enemy.
I have declared that NOTHING shall by any means harm you. This is truth, Beloved. The works of the devil were destroyed at the Cross. I AM not a man that I would lie. I have clothed you in My armor of Light and given you My Sword of the Spirit to strike off the enemy’s head.
You were made to REIGN in this life through the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony. I AM your Strong Tower, your Refuge and your Strength. The weapons of your warfare are not carnal, but MIGHTY THROUGH GOD for the pulling down of strongholds!
Rise up, Beloved, in the power of MY might. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus your Lord.
Oh yes, My Warrior Bride, evil is NOT stronger than you are. If your GOD is for you, who can be against you! “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior!”
“When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior,” Judges 6:12.
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with Good,” Romans 12:21.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 6:12.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes,” Ephesians 6:10-11.
“but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord,” 1 Corinthians 15:57-58.
“For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness REIGN in life through the One Man, Jesus Christ!” Romans 5:17.
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave Him up for us all — how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:31-32.
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord,” Romans 8:31-39 (KJV).
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you,” Luke 10:19.
“The goodness of God endures continually,” Psalm 52:1.
“God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all,” 1 John 1:5.
There is such an absolute perfection in God’s nature and being that nothing is lacking to it or defective in it, and nothing can be added to it to make it better.
“He is originally good, good of Himself, which nothing else is; for all creatures are good only by participation and communication from God. He is essentially good; not only good, but goodness itself: the creature’s good is a superadded quality, in God it is His essence. He is infinitely good; the creature’s good is but a drop, but in God there in an infinite ocean or gathering together of good. He is eternally and immutably good, for He cannot be less good than He is; as there can be no addition made to Him, so no subtraction from Him,” Thomas Manton.©
The goodness of God is the life of the believer’s trust. It is this excellency in God which most appeals to our hearts. Because His goodness endures forever, we ought never to be discouraged:
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who trust in Him,” Nahum 1:7.
