Who Are You Trusting to See You Through?
I fall so short!
When I think I’ve mastered myself, I go and ruin it again!
😊 but….. I know my God smiles over me. I know I have opportunity to let it go, move on, say sorry and enjoy my life.
Every day is a quest to survive in the world, and it’s becoming harder for so many. Yet , every day is a request to give all those issues to Jesus.
I ask a genuine question.
Who are you trusting to see you through every day?
Who makes it better?
Who and what gives you peace in your circumstance?
Can those you love be your saviour in every way, in every moment and in every secret place you have in your heart?
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I AM gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mathew 11:28-30.
What takes your thirst and fills that hole in your soul?
Is there something missing?
So many questions.
“The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.” Revelation 22:17.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Matthew 5:6.
Is it scary to surrender to Jesus?
Fear that he’ll make you stop the things you love?
Jesus never forces nor condemns yet, he reveals his heart and in time, we begin to find those very things we thought we needed become truly unimportant.
The new interests he brings become life giving joy.
“But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” James 4:6.
He is the living water that bubbles over when we surrender and allow Jesus to pour through us and renew, revive and restore us.
“Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.” John 7:37-38.

Amen. Well put. Humility in rare form.
We all blow it from time to time. If we want to be truthful. Thank God for Grace. Thank God that His mercy is renewed every morning.
I put it this way my Sister. I’m not exactly like I want to be. But I’m nothing like I used to be. Hallelujah. God bless
Thank you Yvonne for all you deliver to the people in instructional wisdom. How I love what you spoke here:”Jesus never forces nor condemns yet, he reveals his heart and in time, we begin to find those very things we thought we needed become truly unimportant.”
Oh for grace for all of us on this glory train to keep rising back up when we fall short of the glory of God! No condemnation but a heart to keep on moving forward in a time like this in the love and mercy of Jesus Christ. Hugs, blessings & prayers. ❤️

Dear Yvonne,
Your posts are always so honest. There’s never a trace of guile or self-promotion in your words. You humbly express your walk, and share the battles you face as you walk it out.
In truth – we all have personal battles and mountains – some just conceal it better than others. A transparent soul has no enemies – they’ve already been defeated. I see the “Jesus” in you- thru your transparent words.
Your “hope of glory” (Jesus) has already vindicated you. As the book of Malachi says “on that day when He (The Lord) makes up His jewels” – He will remember you. ‘Blessed daughter’ He calls you.
❤️
