Where You Go, I Will Go
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Where You Go, I Will Go
The road is long and hard
But here You are LORD, guiding my heart
Don’t tell me to leave You
Or to turn back from You
Carry me through every storm
Take me where You want me to go
For where You go, I will go
And where You stay, I will stay
Your People will be my people
You, LORD, are my God
Dry my tears
As we cross the rugged wilderness
Quench my thirst
As we search for cool streams to refresh
Build up my strength
As we travel over steep mountains
At the end, the difficulties will fall away
The sky will become clear
As we arrive not at a place
But at a belonging in Love and Faith
At Your Feet I lay day and night
The number of stars could not compare
To how much my Love is for You
Nor could I fathom how much more
Your Love is for me
You shield me from the noon day sun
And cover me from the chill of night
I am held in Your Warmth-Filled Embrace
All my worries vanish; shadows flee
Your Light crowns me completely
Don’t ever leave me
Don’t ever turn from me
Take me where You want me to go
For where You go, I will go
And where You stay, I will stay
I am no longer alone
For not only are You my God
But also my Father
Your People are my people
You, LORD, are my God
You, LORD, are my God
For where You go, I will go….
“But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God,” Ruth 1:16.
“At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me — a foreigner?”
Boaz replied, “I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband—how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before. May The LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by The LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge,” Ruth 2:10-12.
“And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever,” Daniel 12:3.
“When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?” Psalm 8:3-4.
“For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to The LORD, and if we die, we die to The LORD. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are The LORD’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living,” Romans 14:7-9.
“He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; he encircled him, he cared for him, he kept him as the apple of his eye,” Deuteronomy 32:10.
“How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of The LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Selah Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion . As they go through the Valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion. O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah Behold our shield, O God; look on the face of your anointed!
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For The LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!” Psalm 84:1-12.

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Simply beautiful Danielle. I sang it. Keep on, keeping on! Hugs, Joyce
