Where Is Your Heart?
Where is your heart? Is there any reason for your heart to not respond to the Voice of The LORD?
Maybe there are reasons you have developed while being angry. Maybe you have reasons that pertain to unforgiveness.
You have known you are supposed to forgive but your reasons for holding onto it seems to give you a sense of power over your self worth.
But is it really power you are holding onto?
It isn’t really power at all; it is really self deception; convincing your self that you have the “right” to hold something against someone who may have done you wrong.
You would be loving yourself if you forgive someone of their perceived slight toward you, for love “covers a multitude of sins”.
It would even prevent you from making yourself look like a fool for carrying a thought so far as to accuse someone of what wasn’t true.
Get a life! Your rebellion will not help you. For The LORD knows your rising up and your lying down; He knows when you stand and when you sit. And He knows your thoughts from far off.
The Word of The LORD you should really consider is this: “May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight; oh Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”
If a person is not willing to speak The LORD’s own words to himself, then there is a problem that The LORD will be willing to bring to his or her attention.
Consider your ways in regards to how long it has been since The LORD has answered your prayers.
If you have not been seeing the Hand of The LORD working in your life for some time now, it is time to repent of you ways of thinking.
For He is saying to you: “Call upon Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not”.
Those great and mighty things just might concern His own thoughts about your way of thinking, your attitude about His Word in your life.
Humble yourself now in the sight of The LORD and He will lift you up.
Your heart will be where your treasure is.

Wow! Harsh—and exactly what I needed to hear. ): I am rereading a time or two. This feels like the Lord speaking so directly to me today. Thank you for posting this strong admonition from the Lord.
