Where cash is no longer king
A favorite saying in the business world is; cash is king, meaning if you got cash we can make a deal. When someone says, he paid cash, it sets him apart as a no nonsense person.
For the most part these are people on a life long quest for the American Dream. In the religious world it is no different, the people with the cash, call the shots, because pastors, looking for the American Dream, can be bought fairly cheap. Cash buys and keeps all of his messages happy, telling them how to make more cash, by never offending. Ezekiel 34:2-6,10 The cash people, end up on the board, and serve as heads of departments, and are recognized from the pulpit quite regularly. In many churches the cash people become silent stockholders that hire and fire the pastors, as any corporation would deal with a manager.
However there are some places where cash is not king. Cash is always tempting the Spirit led pastor to sell out. In the western culture, the Spirit filled pastor with little faith, is always in need of funds, because money talks there is always a temptation to listen to what money is saying. The moment he listens, My Spirit is replaced by the cash people, and My anointing is replaced by a self anointing, and he becomes a cash led pastor.
Because cash becomes king in the western church, “there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the seeker friendly sort: 11 Their mouths must be stopped, because they subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of cash” Titus 1:10-11
However, cash is never King in a Spirit led church, and the pastor’s messages will continually offend all who are living after the flesh.
Anyone who try’s to buy a Spirit led pastor will hear him say, “Your money perish with along with you, because you think that the anointing can be purchased with money. 21 You have no part in kingdom matters: your heart is not right with God. 22 Repent of your wickedness, and pray to God, and hope your thoughts that cash is king, will be forgiven. 23 For I perceive that you are full of bitterness, still searching for the American dream, and bound by iniquity” Acts 8:20-23. Where there is a Spirit led pastor, rich and poor are treated alike, because he has dethroned cash and My Spirit is leading him!
Cash is not King when the doctor says, there is nothing more we can do! Cash people suddenly dethrone cash, and seek to make Me King. They beg for prayer, attend every service, read their bible feverishly, and generally clean up their act until the crisis is over 2 Chronicles 15:4.
When the crisis is over, many put cash back on the throne, and continue their search for the American Dream.
Cash is no longer King on your death bed! When you take your last breath cash is not only dethroned, but it is worthless. In that moment you will discover the king of all commerce, both in the natural and spiritual world’s is faith. You will instantly discover that, “without the currency of faith it is impossible to please Me or My Father: for when you come to My Father, you must believe that He exists, and that He will always reward you when you diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6.
May I suggest you trade your cash currency for faith currency by investing your cash into My kingdom on earth. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, take care of the widow and orphan and then when you take your last breath you will be rich in faith Matthew 25:31-46.
