Where Are The Signs?
We’ve never lived in such a time before. But it was foretold.
I tremble when I say this, but whether we want to accept it or not, it’s going to get worse.
How do we know this? When the Disciples asked The LORD about how things would be before He came back, He said so.
And the signs of the end of the world. [Matthew 24:3-31] It’s very clear and not hard to understand. There’s no doubt.
Perhaps, in too many Churches and fellowships, this matter appears to be avoided. And at the very time when it is needed the most.
It’s being prophesied by many as to what our next level is, and what our next season is to be.
LORD, I didn’t intend to say this, but I want to follow your Spirit; I have to.
The highest level you can obtain is on your face in the floor before God. I fully believe and am aware of the higher realms of God and the places of the Spirit.
There is nothing to compare to that and it’s far above this world.
God set in The Church . . “some.”
I am off-centered and truly concerned about so many who declare they are apostles.
You see, there is something missing among too many. It’s the “signs” that follow a true apostle.
God, please help me say this humbly. There seems to be few true wonders, healings and miracles following them as it did in the early Church — and as many of us saw in the years gone by in our Churches and fellowships here before.
So many calling themselves prophets. Can we discern them? Can we know what fruit we are actually looking for?
What signs are required and manifested to those who are truly called?
So many are truly operating in themselves. It seems so obvious today. You can tell by the tone of their voice and you don’t feel The Holy Ghost while they are speaking.
I don’t want to say this…. You hear “self” almost from the very beginning.
How many have been deceived by such people — and just how and why could they have been so deceived?
I asked God why he was allowing this fake and fraud to happen today, especially on Facebook.
He answered me. These folk are so sure of themselves.
Since God did not deal with them correctively in a quick manner, they assumed they could continue as will.
God knew that, because they did not have The Fear of The LORD, they would get louder and even more bold.
Before long, everyone could tell. Even a novice and those with little knowledge, would know the difference.
Apostle Paul wrote, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-6)
Let that rest there….
He went on to say, “But in Demonstration of the Spirit and of power:”
We can say how apostolic we are but we are going to have to take a good look at how much we are demonstrating the Spirit and how much power we are actually using.
When is the last time we saw a demon cast out in one of our Services?
How many healings do we see happening in our daily practice of what we say we believe?
I don’t wish to offend. I’ve been so sick and suffered until I can’t even dream of wishing any harm or rebuke on someone else — but someone needs to tell me something.
So many of our people are so sick with every kind of disease you can think of. We’re in and out of the hospital with all kinds of surgeries, cancers and disorders that drain the very life out of us.
We have so many suffering from mental health disorders, depressions and on a life-time of some kind of medications for it — and nobody can heal them!
Hearts and spirits are badly wounded, and there’s so few to even talk to.
The signs of the end-time. The last days.
We once knew all about those signs. Perilous, was the word used.
Are people even paying attention to what’s going on around them — even those who say they are believers?
How is everyone going to get through this?
How much power do we actually have and what was promised?
What kind of signs follow a “believer”?
The Holy Ghost will lead us and guide is in all truth, and show us when and what to do — or we are going down?
Seek Him with all our hearts . . and don’t let Him go!
“Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for 1all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the 3elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.
Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.
For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His 4elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.“” Matthew 24:3-31

So well said, Elizabeth! I ses the same…! What you are sensing and expressing resounds in me so strong!
I just re-read the book about the life of Rees Howells by E. Bounds!!..What a lesson of dying to self, what a fruit came out of it!
Robert, So very well spoken. THere is a sobering anointing to stop and realize the magnitude of what the Lord gave you. This really got my attention: Apostle Paul wrote, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-6) I was just discussing the ‘enticing words’ part with my husband as we were praying about a specific church we have seen change so much in the last year. Thanks for your obedient heart. Blessings, Sandi Holman
Greetings Robert,
Discernment is a gift to the spirit of a believer, is it not. It so rightly divides. Like a meat butchers knife, it cuts away the fat, the part we shouldn’t eat, and the same blade can finely cut & marinate the choicest cut.
The blade of the sword of the Spirit – His Word. separates, cuts, divides, and heals.
Discernment is that blade that every true seeker of the Word needs, especially
today.
Whenever I see your posts on this site, a true sense of humility and true inquiry of the Lord is there. Even as I ✒️ this, I’m hearing you have a “clean” heart – the Lord delights in integrity. Searching out a matter. Not in any haughty way, but in a humility of spirit. May God bless you.
Yes Amen
“Signs and wonders shall follow those who believes” (not those the believers meet).
The signs that follows you is besides the “hearing” any other miracles that the Lord shows you as a confirmation that you are on the right path. This means the signs is rather between you and the Lord than to show something to someone else.
Jesus compares this promised signs to the true believers which is opposite to those who “seeks signs” who he call an evil generation.
Well, that will probably rankle a few feathers but it is hard to deny the truth of it. There is definitely something amiss in the Church but what exactly I don’t know. It is easy to say sin but that is so generic that it is not particularly helpful. Are we so deceived by being slowly brought to a boil (think the frog allegory) that we can’t see where we are in opposition to GOD? I am praying that GOD will show us what is wrong, why we are not seeing the “these things and greater than these shall you do” that Jesus prophesied. Keep seeking because that is how GOD said we will find.
